Just look at the reviews. Everyone clearly rates the game highly, myself included. Replayability, fun, scalable difficulty. It's a good time.

I played many, many games of the original Sentinels of the Multiverse (and its expansions) about a decade ago. This new version cleans up a lot of the rules, streamlines elements of play without overly simplifying them, and addresses long-standing balance issues with certain characters. There's all new art and lore, which I appreciate but also understand maybe that's not for everyone. The new campaign mode is interesting without adding a ton of record-keeping. There's also a few new heroes and villains to check out, so even if you played the original version to death, there's more to do here. That having been said, the new edition is more or less the same mechanically as the game that came out ten years ago. Strategically it's pretty light, and that might not be exciting for people who want a more involved deckbuilder or card-drafting game. I like it, though. My friends enjoy it as a stand-alone game and not just filler between bigger board games. Definitely a big recommendation for anyone that's into superheroes or cooperative card games in general.

I wanted to try this game for a while. It went on a ridiculous sale for Prime day and I snapped it up. I like card games, especially ones that aren't blind boosters. This is a known set, equal to everyone who gets it. That's fair and affordable. It has a lot of heroes to try. Options to play multiple heroes together or with other people. It's not complex. Villains, heroes, then environment. That's the turn round. There are lots of possible combinations and exponential ways to have each game be unique. I am a fervent fan of Marvel. Therefore this game is eclipsed in grandure by Marvel Champions LCG. Sentinels doesn't replace or substitute Champions as a game, nor do they cross over in superhero skills. Although the expected comic book troupes are here. The art is good. It's refreshing to have an comic universe outside of the blockbusters. There is so much more. As a game, I've just begun to learn it. It looks like fun. It's very highly regarded in the board game world. It is fully cooperative. You play, win, and lose as a team. You play against the bad guys which are run by the game mechanics. There is no element of building a better deck to compete against another player. In fact, you should leverage your plays to win as a team. It's good for a play, and lots of replay. "Kaboom"

This game is awesome if you like deck-building style card games. I love the way they refined the art and play styles of the characters from the original base game. The new character decks are better balanced and the campaign the game comes with is very challenging! Huge replayability on the game and hours of fun in this box.

This game is a fun deck vs boss battler game. Similar to marvel champions except the decks are prebuilt and cant be modified, and to play solo you have to play 3 decks. It is fun, I have only ever played solo but think that it would be fun with 3. Good quality and components. Its based on a made up comic universe which is fun but there are similarities to well known real comic characters. This game is perfect for someone who wants a deck battler but doesn't want to go all in on something like marvel champions. There are a lot of characters and villains in the base box.

Have been able to play this a couple of times, certainly not as much as I would like. The theme is very fun. The heroes that we’ve played so far have had very fun mechanics related to their superpowers and I think it’s very creative. How the creators came up with these ideas. I am a rules person and I thoroughly enjoy how simple, yet clear the instructions are. By using very specific and consistent terminology. You can always figure out what you are supposed to do. Rules are complex enough to create an engaging problem-solving experience, but not overly complex to make it challenging to follow all of the rules. I love cooperative games and have been trying to play this as often as I can whenever I have enough people to do so. Would absolutely recommend.

One of the best games of all time

I love superheroes and the fact that the designers came up with their own comic universe that the characters are based off. The art and graphic design are fantastic. I really like that I don't have to deck build, I can just grab characters, villains, and the environment and play a game. There's a ton of variety in the game! Some people don't like the "fiddliness" of the game, tracking various stat modifiers, but I personally don't think it's that bad. Yes, I miss stuff, but it's really not a big deal to me. This game has been on my play table ever since I bought it. LOVE!

O jogo veio sem problemas, componentes impecáveis, tem mais de 700 cartas. Em comparação com o base antigo: esse é em inglês, tem heróis a mais (não tem visionary mas tem inclusão da unity, argent adept, etc.) e vilões a mais, cenários a mais. Os baralhos dos heróis sofreram updates no sentido de fazer o jogo mais dinâmico. A estética nova me agradou bastante, recomendo muito pra quem gosta da franquia.

This was my first introduction to the Sentinels franchise, and it does leave a very good first impression. Very high production quality, plenty of storage in the box, and I love the new art style which really tries to sell this fictitious world of Sentinel Comics. I've found that this is a great game to bring to parties and other social gatherings, it's easy to teach and everyone feels like they're contributing something to the team. If you want it there is a pretty functional solo mode and a campaign which adds extra variety to the villains. Highly recommend!

The board game box was broken even though the shipping box was in good shape, and nothing else inside was broken. Immediately processed a return and it was returned via a parcelpoint a few days later. It's been nearly three weeks and the return is still processing even though this should have been refunded to me as soon as parcelpoint scanned it in. Very poor. Box must have been broken before being packed for shipping.
