Motorized Blinds with Remote, Smart Blinds for Windows, Custom Size

I am very satisfied with how these blinds turned out, they look fantastic and operate seamlessly. Installation was an easy process, although I do recommend upgrading the screws and anchors to something larger depending on the size of your blinds. I was not satisfied with the screws and anchors that came with the blinds so I used ones that were slightly heavier duty. However make sure that the screws have a flat head or else the round screw head will interfere with the blinds when mating them to the bracket. I chose fabric white blinds with a fabric white valence, pro-tip if you are installing these yourself and went with a lighter color of blinds, absolutely wear gloves when installing these as the fabric valence is incredibly easy to stain. I took my gloves off when adjusting the blinds on the bracket and ended up staining an area on the valence simply from having sweaty hands. Save yourself the stress and wear rubber gloves when installing these. Once they were up and adjusted I had a hard time finding the USB-C charge port, but it was hiding behind an orange plug that is applied before shipping, once that orange plug was pulled from the port a couple lights flashed, the remote paired automatically, and the blinds were good to go. Overall these blinds turned out perfectly, they look great, operate smoothly, and are very quiet. I also have to mention the extra gifts this company throws in, I had a good laugh when I opened the box to find a duck sleep mask, refrigerator magnet, tote bag, and stickers. These are the last things I would expect to find in a box of blinds but when I saw them they definitely made me laugh, I appreciate the thought of throwing that stuff in there!

These are amazing, the price is a little high but worth it. We used to get moisture in a couple of our windows from having the blinds closed all the time but not anymore! They come open in the morning and close at night. Would be cool if they could sync to sunrise and sunset. They let a fair amount of light around the side if you don’t get a track, we got one on Amazon that is awesome. Our room is like a hotel and could sleep all day with them closed. Battery last a surprisingly long time, easily 6 months. Mine were a little tight to install so maybe go 1/16 smaller

I'll try to start with the positives. The shade itself is very nice and attractive, though I am only going from memory as I saw it once. It has not rolled down since. And I'm extremely thankful that I only bought one of these, at just a hair over $400, rather than several. The marketing of this item (Z425) as using a Zigbee compatible motor seems dubious at best. I cannot for the life of me get Zigbee2mqtt to work with it. The remote became unpaired from the motor and following instructions for re-pairing has not worked at all. So now I have a huge window with nothing. Probably going to have to go with a bed sheet until I can some sort of assistance.

They appear to be very high quality and well built. The zigbee motor is a little wider on the motor side, so the shade itself is not centered in the valance, but it is minimal. The fabric seems to be high quality. It was easiest to get a hub for the units than trying to get Alexa to discover them. Once I had the hub and enabled the skill it tied out beautifully. We have done 3 window so far and have 2 more on order.

First, these were very expensive 433 each. I ordered two large custom shades for large windows in a corner of my bathroom that’s hard to physically reach. I specifically looked for shades I could use Alexa with so I could set up smart routines. The quality appears good and the arrived in a decent time and packaged well. Both shades fit my windows perfectly. I also ordered solar panels to power each shade and it is working as needed. I do find it annoying that they sent thick black cabling for white shades. I have no idea how to hide them, right now they look tacky sticking out. One of the shades has the wiring tangled within the shade and can not get it out. It causes the shade to roll crooked and am concerned for the longevity of that specific shade. Each shade came with a remote though you can use a single remote to operate each shade by switching the channel. I’ve spent the last two hours trying to trouble shoot why Alexa is not locating either shade and have been unsuccessful. I would give it higher stars if the solar panel cords weren’t black, the wiring wasn’t tangled and I could get it to actually be a smart shade vs just a remote operated shade. I have many more windows in my home and don’t think I’ll purchase Yoolax for those.

Highly recommend these blinds. Super easy to install. Excellent communication, fast delivery and the product was well packed and great instructions. Remotes worked immediately. I can't express enough how pleased we are.

Update: Since installing these blinds in JULY and setting them up to automatically open and close at dawn and dusk daily via the Alexa app we have NOT had to charge the battery. It is November 15. I keep waiting for it to conk out and need a recharge but it has not. I have also operated them manually a fair amount when I just wanted them closed during the day. How long is the battery supposed to go? : ) I am thankful every day for buying this product. ____ These blinds took my husband less than 10 minutes for my husband to install. I put the battery in the remote control and pushed the down button. It was like magic- it lowered and stopped at the exact point our measurements specified. When open, it almost looks no different than before we put the shade up (disappears into our white molding), which is wonderful. It is not completly quiet, but not loud, for sure. [Regarding pairing in the Alexa app - a tip: 100% OPEN means blinds fully rolled down (and not, as I was thinking, "window open", and 0% OPEN means blinds rolled up and your window showing. It was the opposite of how I had conceptualized it so took me a minute of thinking it wasn't pairing.] Read their directions about measuring carefully and I hope you'll be as pleased as we are.

3 months review: Good quality and looks pretty nice the problem is with the solar charging and the battery life. They shouldn’t give the option of buying the solar charger. You pay extra money for nothing. The battery lasts one month not 6 if you open the blinds and close them once a day. Customer service is great, they shipped me another solar panel. But I tried it on my phone first and after 1 hour of charging the battery percentage was still the same. My guess is that if you don’t have a full sun the whole day everyday then the solar panel is useless. If you’re fine charging it once a month when it dies or just have it plugged in the whole time then these are great.
