Overall a useful purchase that does exactly what it says on the tin. Average quality but for the price it works and is a solid product. Function - Functions exactly as expected and allows me to have three devices connected, whilst the extra USB ports on the device have ended up being extremely useful for passengers wanting to charge phones etc! Quality - Average quality for a product of this price but does the job and is lasting so far. Only minor issue is the fit and clearance for some items being plugged into the lighter ports, as the port is exact to size.

Looks awesome I must admit, I have it command strip taped to my dash. One port has a Yankee candle car air freshener plug in, the other has an FM transmitter which I use as a charger. The USB on top is connected to my phone holder to give power as it auto opens and closes. I like how you can turn a plug off. I also like how it shows the volt of the car battery, I like that! The FM transmitter plugged into it also shows that it is indeed just over 12v power if that matters. Value for money is amazing Size is perfect, I unfortunately can't use the middle socket as the transmitter and the Yankee are quite wide.

First impressions count. And when removing this from the box I could tell this was not housed in some cheap bit of plastic that will last about a week. It felt like a quality item from the start. The cable is thicker than it needs to be, it is actually thicker than the cable used in vehicles - but that's just an observation. The switches are firm. This is good because there is a risk that something could rest against the unit and press against the switches and turn things off, and I doubt that will happen with this unit. Being an Engineer, I like to know what's inside things - so I took it apart. There is a thermal fuse that will cut out if it gets hot, and resets when it cools down. The USB sockets are powered by one single 5V power supply - there is no mention of how much current this can provide, so you maybe limited on charging times depending on how many phones etc. are attached. It comes with two spare 15A small fuses. It doesn't mention this anywhere on the packaging, but the fuse is located on the rear of the case under a small slider with ridges on. In the car I like the fact it shows the car battery voltage. I'm not particularly worried about the voltage, but what I like about that is it is very easy to see if it is actually plugged in and working, rather than have a tiny dim LED which you wont see when its sunny. I've tried plugging in a dash cam and my Sat Nav and both work fine from this. I haven't tried charging my phone yet. Would I buy this again if anything happened to it? definitely.
