Where are they made? all the previous "where are they made" questions are 5 years old. i'm trying to avoid "made in china"

The box I received had China stamped on it. Don't order these, they're worthless. Out of 36 batteries, only 1/3 of them lasted more than a few hours.

How much heat can these withstand? Want to leave a few in car for emergencys. I live in houston texas and it gots hotter than hell.

Heat destroys batteries. If you really need to leave some in your car in extreme heat, try lithium. Regular batteries lose power /can leak in extreme temps.
