Big Train Spiced Chai Tea Latte Beverage Mix, 1.9 Pound (Pack of 1)

I’ve been using this Big Train Spiced Chai mix regularly, and overall it’ has been Y favorite. I typically make it hot with milk, and it mixes easily without clumping. The flavor is what stands out most. It has a smooth, creamy base with a well-balanced blend of spices: Cinnamon, clove, and a hint of cardamom come through without being overpowering. It leans slightly on the sweeter side, but not to the point where it tastes artificial or overly sugary. The finish is clean and easy to drink. I’ve also tried it iced, and it holds up well cold, which makes it pretty versatile depending on the weather. If I had one note, it would be that those who prefer a stronger spice kick or less sweetness may want to adjust the mix ratio or add extra tea/spices. As-is, it’s more of a smooth, approachable chai rather than a bold, spicy one. Overall, it’s a convenient and consistently good-tasting chai mix that works well for everyday use.

This stuff is amazing. Makes 10/10 chai lattes. I can make like 20 venti iced chai lattes at home for like a dollar each and they're perfect every time. Perfect amount of sweetness. Easy and quick to prepare. Get some flavor syrups and you can make all kinds of different drinks. Personally love to mix in apple syrup or pumpkin syrup for a fall-time twist. Never buying a Starbux $7 chai latte again lol.

Oh. My. Lanta. I have been searching for the right chai drink for no fewer than 5 years, ever since one of my neighbors invited me over to her apartment for chai and tikka masala. I have tried everything from chai concentrate, to authentic Indian made-from-scratch recipes. I’ve even gone to our city’s international market and sourced the spices fresh. All have left me deeply disappointed. I’d pretty much resigned myself to enjoying chai from my nearest coffee shop once a month. Then, on a lark, I searched again on Amazon—“chai tea.” Amazon suggested this product. Reviews seemed solid. Y’all. This mix is AMAZING!!!! I mix it in with 2% Lactaid (not lactose intolerant, just prefer the taste to regular milk). I heat the milk in a measuring jug in the microwave, until it’s just about simmering. Mix in enough of the chai powder as smells right (I don’t pay attention to the suggested serving sizes on mix-ins). And it is heaven. It’s so stinking easy to use, it tastes amazing, and isn’t too sweet. I’ve just added this to my monthly “subscribe and save,” as I’ve had chai tea twice a day the last week.

My daughter gets spiced iced latte from a neighborhood cafe. This tastes exactly the same and saves $$$$.

The aroma is very strong and slightly artificial, reminiscent of cinnamon scented candles. However, it tastes good enough! The bag is way bigger than I was expecting so I was a bit worried I'd bought more than I could get through, but it contains sugar and creamer so that's a fair bit of the bulk - the 3.5lb bag is estimated to make 31 servings. It's pre-mixed powder so all you need to do is add water which makes it convenient, though maybe not optimal if you wanted to use it in recipes or wanted it less sweet. All in all I think this was a worthwhile buy and I'll definitely drink it, but for me personally I think in the future I'll look for a somewhat more classic/natural chai product as I'm not a huge fan of the candle-like scent.

I absolutely love this! I have a cup every morning. If you break down the price per serving its $0.80, at the coffee shop I pay about $5 for 12oz, without a tip, for the exacted same thing!!! I don't like it to strong so one serving I split between two cups. It's like Christmas in a cup, or grownup hot chocolate!!!

This vanilla chai tea is lovely. It has such a lovely combination of chai spices...notably cinnamon as the primary...and vanilla to smooth and compliment the other brighter spices. Perfect way to start your day.

This is the best powdered chai I’ve had yet!!! Smells amazing! Slightly confusing directions cause the cup it comes with is in metric but directions are for imperial measure. Converted and was okay though just heads up. Been looking forever and have tried everything! Also it’s amazing to add to my açaí bowls!!! So good will be buying again and again! Blends well.

Me agradó mucho este sabor, ya había comprado el de vainilla y este me parece que es mejor. Se disuelve bien y no es muy dulce.

Nice to find a local Canadian supplier! My favourite Chai Tea for making yummy lattes! My latte recipe: 2 cup glass measuring cup - fill with 200ml water and 200ml of favourite milk (I use 1% or coconut milk), stir and microwave to just before boiling (my microwave is approximately 4 minutes). Then I add 60ml of Chai mix to milk, stir and then pour into my mug. Enjoy!!
