Works well. I have been in and out of cars that do not connect with bluetooth but do have a AUX plug. I can plug this in and listen to music and calls from my phone there are two setting TX which is Transmit. and RX is what I used to connect phone to car AUX plug. Press and hold the button to turn on, than turn on your phone look for the UGREEN in the bluetooth menu. Just know you will only get about 8-10hours of use and if it dies just use the USB-C to charge. Good device I might buy another.

I have a stereo that does not have bluetooth but does have a headphone jack. When I work at home, I'd like to have the music on between meetings, but my spouse complains that the music is too loud. (How she can hear my music on volume level 2 on the other side of the house but can't hear the tv unless it's above 15 when she's right in front of it, is just beyond me. But I digress.) The stereo is behind me quite a bit, so getting a long cord for a headphone is not a good idea. I picked this one out because it was on sale and had good reviews. I'm using it for a single earbud. (need to keep the other ear open for calls and anything else, since I can't hear when both of them are in). This was a bit tricky as it just would not connect to this earbud or a number of similar ones I have. It wasn't until I read another review that I got it to work. I'm not sure which was the trick, because I did both of the following at the same time: plug it in to reset it and do this is a space where there are no other bluetooth devices around. Once I recharged it and had it plugged in and away from anything else electronic, the earbud paired up pretty quickly. It must have been confused by the other earphones, my phone, my laptop, my printer or Bob knows what else in my office that also has Bluetooth. This thing is going to be a lifesaver, as I work so much better with music at a volume that I can actually hear and not have to wonder whether or not it's annoying the woman I love. Thank you!!!

The UGreen BT Transmitter worked right out of the box!! :-) I purchased this to use with my BT MPow mBits earbuds and Apple iPod. Turned on the UGreen device and it connected to my MPow earbuds immediately. Tunes were clear and distance from UGreen BT/iPod was pretty good! 10ft+. However, I found with my Pimsleur Cantonese and Mandarin language files, the sound cuts out so much I can't hear the lessons. Puzzling, as my Michel Thomas French,Italian and Spanish languare lessons work great. Both language files are .M4a files, so I'm not sure if its the file types. All my tunes/files play great and I can walk 10-20ft+ from my iPod in the gym!!!! Will see if support has any ideas on my Chinese language files. Great affordable device :-)

Bluetooth has lag and is inherently less high quality than a wired connection. Them's the brakes with Bluetooth. However, that being said, this one is a particularly bad example. The audio sounds like it is being played through the telephone. The lag is ALWAYS at least over one second so if you were planning on using this for anything more than just beaming over music, you will not have a good experience. For me, this lag is incredibly poor. Video watching was going to be my main use for this thing, but having lag just makes it nigh-unwatchable. Not all devices support shifting the audio to fix my issue, either. But I should not have to do that at all. When it comes to battery life, the manual says it lasts 5.5 hours. Wish it lasted longer, especially for a device being sold in 2023. But whatever, It's a small device. That can't really be helped. But one of the worst things is the awful voice used. I get that they have to give you SOME kind of indication that devices are paired (even though the light on the device can and WILL do the same thing). It's not so much that the voice is unpleasant, it's just that it is SO. DANG. LOUD. It will blast "POWER ON", and "BLUETOOTH CONNECTED" into your ears at full volume. Make sure to put on your headphones AFTER you have turned the device on. AWFUL, AWFUL idea. They do give you the option to change the voice. Only issue is the only other option is Chinese. An option to completely remove the voice would improve this product. What a disappointment this product ended up being, especially with the other reviews praising it. Considering how amazingly good those other reviews are, I almost wonder if I just got a borked unit.

I saw this on TikTok. I am so glad I ordered this for my school bus radio. I received a new bus and it came with a radio. It works only through Bluetooth. It connects quickly and it plays clear. The charge last me about 2-3 days. Easy to setup. I love this gadget! The sound is great. Very convenient and works well with my iPhone. Small little gadget that packs power. Can use with any radio or music device that has the 3.5 port/plug.

I was trying to use this unit as a transmitter for my guitar amplifier. In this application there cannot be any delay. However, once I got it working I found about a half second delay which just doesn’t work. I don’t know if that would apply to a TV watching situation because I didn’t try it but I would assume that would be the same issue. To start, it was extremely difficult to pair this unit. I was trying to pair with Apple AirPods Pro. I almost gave up. The directions are clear but didn’t work and need more troubleshooting details. I’ll provide a few. First, MAKE SURE ALL BLUETOOTH DEVICES NEARBY ARE OFF. I had turned off my iPad and iPhone but forgot about my Bluetooth keyboard. As a result, unknown to me, the device paired with my keyboard before it had a chance to pair with my AirPods. Once I realized that I followed the directions to reset the unit. They didn’t work. The unit would not reset. After an hour of trying I was about to give up when I had a brainstorm and decided to plug the unit into the power cable. Voila! The unit reset. Once I reset it I was able to easily pair it. UGreen should provide this information. Instead their support is still emailing me questions about where I bought it and then after I provided that information they asked me a question 48 hours later which model I had. You’d think they would ask all their questions at once! Once they were paired they worked well and sounded good. But the delay made it impossible to use. Imagine strumming a guitar and getting the sound a half second later. Can’t use them. I’m back to my wired headphones which have no delay. If the same thing happens with a movie that would drive me crazy. I’m returning the unit.

I use this to add music to my audio mixer for my shows. Works perfectly! Sounds excellent and is reliable. Great value too.

I purchased the UGreen Bluetooth Audio Receiver & Transmitter for my Zune HD. I used this Zune just about everyday from the day I purchased it 2010 and I have faithfully found a way to violently tug the headphone cord causing it to be jerked out of the Zune or the Zune hitting the floor. When I want to use it with my JBL speaker, I would have to connect it with the audio cord and struggle to find a safe place to set them both up. I have gotten tired of the Zune HD hitting the floor more times than the JBL speaker. My Zune HD still works perfectly, so I felt it was time to treat it right and make it a Bluetooth device to help keep it safe. The hardest part was figuring out what setting to use TX or RX and then pairing it with the JBL speaker without reading the included instruction manual I misplaced. THE ANSWER: TX , press the power button for 3 seconds then turn on the Bluetooth speaker or headphones. The sound to my speaker sounds as if it's connected via the audio cord. The transmitter doesn't feel like it added any extra weight to my Zune HD. When I got tugged and hit the transmitter the black rubber part before the audio plug moves. It does not feel like there is any extra trauma being caused to the Zune's audio jack like when I get the headphone cords tugged. While it was connected to my JBL Charge 3 speaker, I pressed the pause button and it did not pause the music on the Zune, so I guess the controls don't work. I have a pair of XO Beach 3D headphones that I love and this would not connect to them. I only received this 1 hour before this review so I will have to test out other headphones they can and cannot connect to.

Seamless and easy to connect with any audio device which doesn't have a Bluetooth connection. There is no lag and output seems to be good enough. Its small and compact and the battery life is also fair enough.

Pairing tip: (was required for pairing my Airpods Pro 1): after turning on the device (blue light), do a short double press to get device into pairing mode (blue-red flashing light). Overall; some trouble with pairing at first and manual was not very clear. good quality and price. I was very happy with the item when I used it for the in-flight entertainment system on an airplane.
