Universal Power Group UPG UB1270 Replacement Rhino Battery

We don’t use our old security system and was no on battery. This works

this item was used to replace a backup power supply. in the event of a power outage, the battery serves to provide uninterrupted power. the old battery was tired and the newly bought one worked perfectly.

I ordered twice within a week and received 2 different brand batteries. One maxed at 12.9V, the other 12.7. Other than that, so far so good.I'm using them in a solar setup on a small Teardrop trailer. I've read differing information on whether these batteries are suited for deep-cycle applications. I also can't figure out if this is an AGM or gel cell. Either way, my usage is minimal. A few LED lights and phone charging, occasional small fan.

A good replacement.

Home depot no longer carries it. And even if they did I wouldn't buy there because of their politics. Installed and system no longer has that annoying, constant beep.

Bad experience! First the shipping takes so long that by the time you receive it you can't return it. ( and I have Amazon Prime! ) 2) When I tried it worked during a week so I thought everything was fine. I was running few raspberry pi. 90 watts maximum and they don't consume much. But after a week it went off. I thought that maybe the trip affected, it was not fully loaded, whatever, I bought a device to charge it. I did it during a night, a week later the same happened. Now, I charged it again and I tried with my 2 other identical UPS and the same happened. 5 month later this battery doesn't work. Now, I'll buy one more expensive and I'll comment my results once I get it.

Arrived on time. Easy to install. Works fine.

Ordered 14 May 2015 and installed in UPS for Verizon FIOS ONT. Worked for ~2 yrs and 4 months before the error light on the UPS came on again. Previous UPS batteries lasted longer than this, and it seems to me a lead-acid battery should last longer than this.
