I had looked for a high quality portable pull up solution for a long time .
Lightweight but very heavy duty . Very solid build and superb quality . Your weight pulls down at the hinge which tightens the pincer squeeze on the door frame. Building codes require that weight bearing walls have door frames as strong as the wall. That usually means double beams on the sides and over the top inside the wall. Heavy duty silicone inserts prevent wall or door frame damage. I am 6 ‘1” , and yes, I need to bend my knees in dead hang but that is a small price to pay for a perfect piece of portable exercise equipment. I got some different climbing cord and changed this to a hammer grip which is personally easier on my elbows. I put some epoxy glue on the knot and stuffed the knot it into the handle. Very sleek looking.

Great design
These work so well I can't imagine why anyone would order one of those bars that can pull off your paint or bust up your wall. These work exactly as they should. Very solid. The design makes them really easy to take up or put down so when company is coming, it's easy to remove them. I'm sure they'd be great for travel but haven't tried that yet. Fortunately I'm not near the reported weight capacity but it seems to me it would easily handle that much weight.

Great Alternative to a Pullup Bar
These are a great alternative to the setup with a full bar. They work surprisingly well. Very convenient. Seems to be relatively gentle on the door frame, but jury is still out on that. Highly recommend.

Traveler and renter friendly!
I’ve had these for over 2 years now and still have nothing but great things to say. They’re sturdy, portable, easily taken down/ put up in 2 seconds, and they leave no marks! I drove 2500 miles cross country with these in my backpack to take into hotels at night and I had 0 issues. Many hotels/airbnbs and 6 different apartments (I move a lot for work) - these still work beautifully. Worth every penny. I could do 2 pull ups when I first bought them and I quickly got to 10+, now I add about 35lbs (~160lbs total with added weight) and they still hold up fine. They even hold my 250lb boyfriend! If anything I would worry more about the door frame itself than these bad boys. Sometimes I don’t use the handles and I’ll hold the plastic part with a neutral grip instead. I’ll even hang TRX suspension bands from them to get even more versatility and use. They’ll fit any standard door frame.

Great for travelling
I spend a lot of time in hotels, and they rarely have facilities for a passive hang. I try to hang for 10 minutes every day, but get out of the habit when the hotel doesn't have a bar I can use. I purchased this device last week while spending 7 days in a hotel. It came the next day and I was able to put it up in just a few seconds. It is very solid and well made. The handles took a few minutes to get used to, but I quickly got the "hang" of that. Great product, I would recommend it.

Work well, but expensive
This is one of those products that works really well but it is a little pricey. Setting up on doorframe- this is simple and rather intuitive, but just in case, there are instructions provided. Use - At first, there is a little trepidation as you grab the handle and hope it stays put and supports you, but soon enough you realize it does and you then have confidence to perform your exercises Comparison - I know there are other brands who make a similar looking product but I cannot compare to those as this is the only one I purchased. However, in comparison to other styles, for example, the pull-up bars that mount across the doorway using leverage to stay in place, the advantage of the Duonamic is that it doesn't make marks on the doorframe and you can mount any width for variety of handgrip spacing. Another advantage is that it is very portable and easy to stuff in a typical-sized duffle bag or luggage and take on vacation without need for assembly/disassembly. This may be valuable to you. The handle is about as low as a bar so if your doorway is low, so too will you be hanging. On the downside of comparison is the cost. Most of the doorway bars are way less than half the cost so if the advantages I mentioned above don't apply to you then perhaps you go a different route. Overall, it does what it says it will do - it's just pricey.

Good design and materials. Easy to install and remove.
Quality materials. Light weight but strong. Easy to install and remove. So, suitable for daily installation and removal if/as needed. It can be used even with frames that are close to the (drop) ceiling, as shown in the pucture. However, since it drops a bit from the frame, my knees almost touch the floor when I hang from it. You may want to consider this if you are taller than 5’8”.

Exactly what I've been looking for.
Exactly what I've been looking for! I've always used the hanging bars for pull ups previously, but was annoyed by the marks they'd leave on the door frame and wall, and were a pain to put away. These have solved all of those issues. They are surprisingly sturdy, super easy to put up, take down, and store. They open up wide enough to fit most door frame thicknesses, and have caused no damage to my door frames whatsoever. The handles are also comfortable to use whilst being very robust, unlike the foam pads that disintegrate after a few months on other types of pull-up bar. Also has the flexibility to change the handles quite easily if you wish. Expensive, but they do the job very well.

Incredible, versatile, smart design—I love it.
I’ve had a couple well-reviewed pull-up bars over the past couple years and neither of them were nearly as good as this one. I’m so impressed with this “bar.” I was admittedly a little skeptical that the handles would hold my weight when I first clipped them to my doorframe (I’m 174 lbs, so not that heavy—I don’t know, maybe I have trust issues), but these suckers are SOLID. As a test, I did 3 sets of 10 chin-ups and didn’t hear a single creak from my doorframe. Felt just like pumping out chin-ups on a real gym bar. The best part? They don’t leave a scratch on your door. They lightly clip onto the doorframe as opposed to rubbing and damage that other pull-up bars do. Considering you can bring them just about anywhere, it’s a no brainer if you want to train on the road, on vacation, etc. Worth every penny!

Expensive but sturdier than expected and works well,
I had some mild doubts at splurging on what could potentially be a flimsy plastic claw...glad to say I was wrong! Watched a few reviews online and made the leap and I'm now pleasantly surprised by the claw. It's a sturdy plastic composite of some kind (feels well constructed) and the silicon-sheathed claws have a spring-like pressure that keep them grabbing onto your doorframe. I'm no expert in doorframes but so far there has been no sign of damage or of pulling the frame down (which would probably only happen if it's a 'fake' frame that's stuck above the doorway for the looks only. Very happy with it so far! Let's see if I can travel with it...
