These light strips are awesome. The colors are vibrant, they get plenty bright, and setup with the Kasa app and Alexa was quick and painless. I love being able to change scenes and schedules from my phone, and the 32.8 ft length was perfect to transform my room—great quality and totally worth the price.

This LED light strip is 32.8 feet of RGB goodness that works with Alexa and Google Home and I am not going to lie, it completely transformed my room. Voice control, app control, millions of colors. The smart home integration is not an afterthought here. It is built in and works flawlessly. The two rolls of 16.4 feet each give you flexibility in installation. Run them continuously or split them between different areas. The length is generous enough to outline an entire room or wrap around multiple pieces of furniture. No need to buy extensions. Color accuracy and brightness are impressive. The RGB LEDs produce vibrant, saturated colors across the entire spectrum. Reds are actually red, not orange. Blues are deep and rich. The whites are clean without that bluish tint some strips have. Movie night, party mode, chill vibes. Whatever mood you want, these lights can create it. The Kasa app makes setup and control intuitive. Schedules, scenes, music sync, color presets. Everything you would want in smart lighting is available and works reliably. The wifi connection stays stable and commands respond instantly. No frustrating lag between tapping the app and seeing the lights change. Installation was simple with the included adhesive backing. Stuck firmly to my desk and entertainment center without peeling. The strip is flexible enough to follow corners and contours but rigid enough to not sag or droop. For anyone wanting smart RGB lighting that actually delivers on the smart features, this is it. The Kasa ecosystem is reliable, the lights are bright and colorful, and 32 feet is enough to do something substantial with.

Great color and two strips work off one controller. I wish these were single LED addressable and had more effects or the very least each string could be controlled opposite the other, so red on one strip and green on the other. They work in Home Assistant which is helpful.

When the no name controller went out on my 7 year old RGB light strip I needed a solution. Another RGB controller alone would have cost 2/3 of what this Kasa Smart Kit cost. So I decided to get it.. It took me ten minutes to set up, including trimming the strip to size, adhering it, and setting it up in the Kasa Smart app. No soldering. No extra connectors, wires, or power supplies to purchase. So very cost effective in my opinion. Everything needed is in one box. Even though the lights are only RGB the white color is very pleasing. The only criticism is that if you need very bright RGB lights these may not be bright enough. They are definitely bright enough for my purposes and I’m using them at 45 to 65% brightness. I’ve been using Kasa Smart products for a long time and they are every easy to use with Alexa and IFTT if that’s needed.

Register your product! TP-Link stands behind their product. Like all electronics sometimes you get infant mortality. I installed the strip lights and they ran great for a few days and then for no reason I could see, one segment went dark. TP-Link replaced the product pronto. I have since purchased more. I have had zero problems with replacement and new purchases. I use them under eves for great home lighting.

I already have a few of those around the house. I love it! Its so freaking easy to install. its totally plug and play. stick it, plug it in, pair it, done. it takes seconds to pair it with the Kasa app. I love Kasa products and have many ceiling lights, plugs, etc. of Kasa products. and it works flawlessly with Google Home, and Alexa.

Easy installation and brightened up my dark closet. Very cool! Works well with Amazon Alexa as well.

Dealing with the TP-Link for any warranty issue is just a nightmare. I have four strips and after a few months one of them stopped emitting any warm colors like red, while the cooler colors like green or blue worked. I contacted their tech support and after trying to debug for a while he said the item is defective and they will approve a RMA. After a day I got an email saying I need to send them the defective unit to them before they send a replacement and I had to pay for sending them the defective unit. I did that. After a day or so they contacted me saying that the unit was cut incorrectly. I pointed out how it was cut and it it worked correctly for many months and still works but only certain colors fail. Then I got an email saying they now agree it was cut properly but THEY CANNOT GIVE A REPLACEMENT AS THE UNIT WAS CUT. I pointed out to them that this is supposed to be cut to your use and it is said so in the description. They would not accept that answer. This is their actual email: ------ Hi Anil, Yes after further review our supervisor did see that it was cut properly. The previous conclusion was based on an older light strip product that specifically instructed cuts not to be on the copper. However, that said management did conclude cutting, while it is an option, is a modification of the hardware and thus does not qualify for a warranty service. Any defects or damages caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, improper installation or maintenance, misuse (including failure to follow product documentation), neglect, disassembly, alterations to the hardware or supporting setting files, servicing other than by TP-Link USA authorized technicians, and external causes such as, but not limited to, natural disaster, water damage, extreme thermal or environmental conditions. This would be no different than a customer who loads a 3rd party firmware on their router. While it is allowed, it also voids the warranty. Came with an American plug, I assumed seeing as it was sold on Amazon Australia and came from Australia it would be an Australian plug, nowhere in the description did it say otherwise. Seller gave me $18 back for me to buy an adaptor! Shame America and Australia use different voltages!!!

Good brightness and easy to install. I am happy with the quality and would buy again! The app is a little off colour on the colour wheel, versus the actual light colour coming out of the LED but that’s easy to figure out. I also love that I run it from my Kasa app. I do wish it had a white LED but I knew it didn’t while buying it, and the white colour still looks fairly close. One piece to note: I ran it down my counter and had excess so ran some of it back in the other direction. I noticed when looking straight up at it that one side looked like a different colour than the other. At first I thought that I had kinked it on my corners, but after a bit of trouble shooting and testing, I realized it’s just an optic of how the LED’s look, and from the opposite direction you see the same affect.
