The liquid version of this product is better than the spray version. Review: Flex Seal can eliminate periodic outdoor house painting - This stuff has provided a 'final solution' for certain outside wood on my home. I live where the seasonal temperature range can be 100F to -40F. This is brutal on even the best, long-lasting outdoor house paint. Every few years I would have to scrape and/or sand cracked or peeling spots and do touch up. Since I first used Flex Seal on critical places (like window frame tops where snow and water sit), I have had NO FURTHER MAINTENANCE. Note that there is conflicting information as to whether you can apply regular paint on top of the Flex Seal (for me, I wanted to knock down the Flex Seal's high gloss finish).
