The loft is very good, so nice to find a low rise pillow like this. It seems very good quality and I expect it to last a long time. Nice to have the removable, washable cover. The firmness I suspect is good for body alignment for side sleepers like me.Cons: Compared to a medium firmness of a memory foam contoured pillow, this one is surprisingly harder. I find the contour shape does not work for me, so I prefer this pillow for its uniform loft. I have used this one a few nights, and I am getting used to the firmness. He had a toddler pillow--- similar to this of memory foam and breathable. I tried a handful of pillows and either they were too small, way too big, way too expensive, or really really fluffy. I finally took a gamble on this pillow and both he and I are happy. A little bigger and taller than I would have liked, but it's breathable, reasonably priced, and not too fluffy that I'm uncomfortable with him sleeping on it.
