I'll start with the caveat that putting anything on or near your genitalia is dicey. Tranexamic acid is used as a topical cosmetic ingredient to lighten pigmentation, but it started out as an essential medicine used to reduce heavy bleeding. It is a pretty safe ingredient whether you take it internally as a pill from your doctor or apply it to your skin externally. However, you always want to do a patch test and since this product isn't DESIGNED to go on sensitive (i.e. mucus membrane) areas, I'd be cautious.
