Works great!
So I didn’t buy these because I have a toddler that gets into drawers and cabinets, I bought them because I have kittens that are very observant and have figured out how to get into the bathroom drawer where the toilet paper is hidden from them because they destroy it. And we all know how precious toilet paper is right now! Our first thought was to block off the drawers, put heavy things n front of them. But we not only blocked the kittens, we blocked ourselves. Admittedly, I was stubborn about buying child locks for kittens, but after almost peeing my pants because I had to move a heavy bin out of the way, I changed my mind. Installation is crazy easy. I’ve had to do the locks that needed to be screwed in, and those are horrible. These locks are great. Peel off the back of the paper and stick it to the drawer or door. A few of them were a bit off so I had to peel them off and reposition them. I learned really fast to put them on very lightly (don’t press the lock firmly) until I made sure they were lined up. The first one I pressed firmly, then realized it was off, so I had to very slowly peel it off. It doesn’t come off easy, so it took a little muscle. I suppose if somebody were to leave their toddler unattended and the child kept pulling really hard on the drawer or door, the lock might pop off, but it would take some effort and time. So basically, put the lock where you think it will lock well, press lightly, confirm it’s lined up then press firmly for 30 seconds, or adjust it, if necessary. Also, don’t leave your child unattended and then complain that the locks don’t stick.

Not just for childproofing! Protection of breakables in earthquake too!
We do not have any young children in our household, but these latches are just perfect for what I wanted them for! I was thinking about what if there was a powerful earthquake here and with my kitchen cabinets not having any way of being kept closed and "latched" opened up due to the shaking. All of the dishes and glassware inside of them could fall out and break! That would be a real tragedy and a loss, not to mention the mess of all the broken glass and dishes on the floor, and expensive to replace too! So I thought that I should check around for something to keep my kitchen cabinets closed in case we did have an earthquake like this (it has happened here in the past, and not that long ago either). I saw the latches that come with screws, and then I saw these. I thought that these looked easier to install, and had good reviews, so I decided to buy them. They are very easy to install, wherever it is easiest to push the little button on the side for you to open them. For example, I installed these on the lower corner of the upper cabinets, and then on the upper corner of the lower cabinets where I had some breakable items in. You place them so that the little hook part will just catch on the side when closed. And the adhesive on these latches seems very sticky and secure. So I would recommend these latches not only for child proofing your cabinets, but also for keeping glassware, dishes, etc. safe and secure in your cabinets in case there is a strong earthquake.

Not great for drawers
These are perfect for cabinet doors. They take less than a minute to put on if using the sticker, and they've held up well after a week of my husband and I forgetting we applied them and slamming cabinets open. The baby also enjoys slamming the cabinet doors, and the glue is holding up well. My -1 star is because these are not good for drawers. Even with the extra lip, the hook is too short. Sometimes it will catch, but half the time (or if I open a drawer quickly), it will somehow slide right past it. Note that the length may be a bad thing for drawers; my baby can still slip items through the gap when she pulls the drawer open against this latch (like measuring cups and utensils). Still, I'd recommend for cabinets. Get that babyproofing done!

High Quality, Easy to Install, Good Customer Service
Great latch, easy to install, easy to use, good quality. I contacted the company with a question & they answered quickly. We liked these latches enough, that even though we had to do some engineering to get them to work "better" on some of our style of cabinets which only have about a 1/4" inch of clearance on all 4 sides of the door/drawer, it was worth it, just due to the fact you don't have to drill a bunch of holes & once you don't need them any more, you can remove them without any damage to the doors. If your style of cabinets or drawers does not allow the door or drawer to open far enough to easily slip your finger in to depress the latch, just use a small block of wood as a spacer to allow the latch shank to extend out farther to allow a larger opening for your finger. If you have "regular" cabinets, these just stick on and work great. This is a MUCH better design than the ones you buy at the brick-and-mortar stores.

Cheap, poor design, and not practical
We don’t have kids, but we got these to have as a temporary solution for whenever we have friends over who do have kids. We liked that these have a screw mount option, which in theory would make them easy to remove when we don’t need them. We also liked that they would be hidden from view. The first thing I didn’t like is that these ended up not being compatible with our drawers, only with the cabinet doors. The mount was too large to fit on the top lip of our drawers. On my first attempt to mount one, the screw got tangled up in the 3M strip and was rendered unusable. The 3M strips came already adhered, so I decided I would need to remove them from all latches in order to screw mount. Not a huge deal, but definitely a waste and a poor packaging flaw, IMO. Second attempt, I got it mounted, but it was too low. It would catch, but because the plastic flexes, it would easily come open with a moderate amount of pull. No big deal, I’ll just mount it a bit higher so it’s a tighter fit. Third attempt ends up being mounted too high — you had to really force it to get it to catch, and I felt like it was likely to break over time. So I decided to mount it again; fourth attempt, and it was finally perfect. But the margin for error to find that sweet spot is 1/8”-1/4” on either side. I also noticed at this point that our slow close cabinets would not close with these mounted, so I decided it wasn’t worth mounting on all 10 cabinet doors with how exactly precise I would need to measure in order to get this to line up in the sweet spot. But my wife said we should at least mount these on the two doors that most frequently get opened by the kiddos, the one under the sink on the island. So I obliged and tried a fifth attempt to mount these. In doing so, a screw head popped off, leaving the threads of the screw stuck inside the hole in the cabinet door. If you have patience to perfectly line these up on every door; and you don’t need the screws or don’t mind removing and wasting the 3M adhesive; and you don’t have slow close cabinets; and you are ok with occasional screws breaking or being unbelievably careful with those; and if you don’t mind potentially not being able to use these on you drawers; then by all means, I’m sure you’ll love the product. I’ll be returning these.

Childproof. Until your child figures out how to use them.
We bought these a couple years ago when our oldest child was starting to crawl and get into the cupboards. We liked them so much we actually bought another set for our the rest of our drawers and cabinets. They were great, but it didn't take long for our son to figure out how to operate them. Since, then we had to remove some of them and purchase the magnetic cabinet locks, which are far more childproof. PROS: 1) Super easy to install. Like, so easy my wife could have done it. But she didn't. Just make sure you align everything properly, stick, hold, and wahlah! 2) Durable. They withheld some serious toddler anger and forceful attempts to rip open. I did break one with my nose as I tried to catch a falling peanut butter jar. Long story. I'm okay. Thanks for asking. 3) Super easy to use***. See below for disclaimer. But these are far more convenient to use than having to find a magnet, line the magnet up properly after a thousand tries, and then open. Just push down and open. Voila. CONS: 1) Too easy to use. Actually, so easy even a toddler can do it. It wasn't long before our toddler figured out how to operate these locks. It was manageable for a while, but after he turned two and learned how to push chairs to the cabinets, climb up, operate the locks, open the cabinets, then dump cereal boxes all over the floor or open jars of peauts on his own, then it became a problem. I ultimately ended up removing these locks (which wasn't easy!) and installing the magnetic ones. SUMMARY: While the magnetic locks are more inconvenient to operate, they save the hassle of your toddler getting into potentially dangerous items and are more convenient in the long run. These locks might be good for frequently used (i.e. utensil) drawers, but you'll want something more protective, like the magnetic locks, on cabinets or drawers with more potentially dangerous items (i.e. knives, cleaning items, food items).

Its a must for cabinets. Keep the children safe and mess free from cleaning products.
I like these. There is plenty and they have sticky double tape that holds very well or an option to use the screws that comes with the product. Decent pricing as well worth it.

Easy & Affordable
So easy to install. And since we are renting, I don't have to worry about leaving any holes or sticky mess behind. When installing, I placed a couple of them wrong, used a hairdryer to remove the sticky piece, and immediately re-placed the same sticky piece with no problem and it continues to adhere. I foresee removal of them all being no problem. I ordered 2 boxes and put them on all the kitchen and bathroom cabinets in a few minutes time. I will buy this same product again if I end up needing them for drawers. My baby has lost interest in the cabinets after learning they don't open anymore, and I know baby will be safe if she ever gets curious again. They give me so much peace of mind- I should have ordered them in sooner. April 2020 update: 2.5 yrs later and we have now moved out of our first place where I had originally placed these child locks. Since it was a rental, I removed them upon vacating using a hairdryer with no problems. They were on there pretty good after a couple of years, but they left no damage upon removal. I threw all the pieces away since the sticky part could not be reused. We now live in a house we own and have another baby interested in opening the cabinets so I ordered these again. The rest is history, same review as I said before. We are very pleased.
