Heaven Official's Blessing: Tian Guan Ci Fu (Novel) Vol. 2

I've had the physical volume for a while now, but I'd been procrastinating on getting the Kindle version. I heard the news that Seven Seas voluntarily recognized their union, United Workers of Seven Seas (@_UW7S on Twitter), today, so I finally got around to buying it! I hope the negotiations go well and the workers get all their very reasonable demands. The book itself is incredible. Mo Xiang Tong Xiu is a masterful writer. I read the full fan translation before it was taken down, and I've been obsessed with the main couple for over a year now. It means so much to read a book that centers and celebrates M/M romance and sexuality, and the dynamics of the couple are exactly my type, with one character incredibly devoted to another very kind character. And it's not just that - the cast of characters and the non-romance plots are very well-done. The quality of the translation is very good as well (with a disclaimer that I don't speak Chinese; I mean lack of typos, etc.). And the illustrations are very nice! I especially like the one with Xie Lian standing on his bed - he's very cute. Overall, I highly recommend this volume! I would give it more than five stars if I could.

Love this series! It gives way more details than the anime. Will definitely continue to read. It’s supposed to be a BL, but I haven’t really gotten much of that vibe yet.

Love this story. Its not the usual good verse evil story. The author is very good with detail and it really brings the characters and their world to life. Im really glad I found this series.

My daughter has this entire collection, and she loves it. She loves the story line. Great value.

Just finished the second book and it is safe to say I am hooked. I was unsure when I started the first book but as I got used to the writing style, I fell in! These characters feel real and multifaceted, & the lore/ world building is quite intriguing. I would recommend!

Rien à dire, édition incroyable

The story is amazing and it is starting to dig much deeper in the past so we can understand the story much better. Xie Lian is an icon and one of my fav main characters ever. Unfortunately the book I got was really dirty and also really damaged, it's the most damaged book I own now. Makes me sad but It's okay

This is my second time reading this novel, still I can hardly put it down. The characters are very original and amusing, each with their own back story. The horror element is really well done. The romance is not my favourite kind but I enjoyed the subtlety of it so far. The following volumes will get very dark and the horror element also continues.

Todo bien! Ha llegado en perfecto estado y el envío ha sido muy rápido (lo pedí el día 13 en preventa y me ha llegó el día 15). Acabo de ver que este libro ya es número 1 en venta y me alegro mucho por MXTX, esta autora es muy buena en lo que hace y se merece todo el reconocimiento que tiene. Estoy muy contenta con las compras de libros en Amazon porque son muy eficientes con las entregas y encuanto a las series, TGCF es la mejor obra que he leído hasta ahora. El contenido es atractivo, original y muy interesante; el arte oficial y la portada hacen que sea muy estético y mágico; además, los personajes son encantadores y muy carismáticos. La historia en sí está muy bien desarrollada y elaborada, disfrutas de cada detalle y en definitiva, es un BL precioso. Personalmente, creo que lo más entrañable es el amor que surge entre los personajes principales: Hua Cheng y Xie Lian. Es un tipo de amor que nace desde el afecto, cariño y respeto, y es algo muy espontáneo. Ambos han pasado por acontecimientos muy duros en sus vidas anteriores, han cometido errores y en la actualidad tienen que lidiar con ello, incluso ocurriendo otros acontecimientos de por medio. Es un amor sincero, que no resulta para nada forzado (como en otros bls que he leído) y muy natural, ya que no ha tenido lugar algo determinante o algún acontecimiento que hiciera que se enamoraran. Y es algo diferente. Quiero seguir disfrutando de los libros y ver cómo se desarrolla la historia, y espero que otros puedan hacerlo también así que espero que salga pronto la edición en español.
