Fomlube (Fomblin UT18) Grease Lubricant for Watches 20g: desertcart.com: Industrial & Scientific Review: You Get What You Pay For - Do you get a lot of grease? No. Is it expensive? Yes. However, with application in wristwatches, I’d imagine this tub will last for several years. My need: a grease for screw down crown threads on wristwatches. This is the exact grease Rolex and Tudor uses on their crown threads. On one new watch, I first cleaned the crown threads with a q-tip and dental floss. Then blow with compressed air. With the tip of a sharp toothpick, I then applied a tiny amount of this grease directly on the threads. Screw down and unscrew to distribute. Viola: success. The new crown went from gritty and rough to smooth perfection — like that on a Rolex or Tudor. Disclaimer: quality of the threads from the watch brand manufacturer IS a factor. Don’t expect this grease to do wonders on a cheap watch with low end machining. In summary, it is expensive. For my application, it is worth it. Would buy again. No other grease will suffice on crown threads. Thx for reading. Review: Me parece un engaño un pote tan grande tu crees que trae bastante y viene vacío.
