I have an "adventure tourer" motorcycle and wash it once per year whether it needs it or not :) After the year, there is lots of grime on my swing arm, kick stand, wheels and other areas. The grime is largely due to the fact that I have a chain and the chain lube gets onto various parts of the bike. My procedure for using this product is (1) put cleaner bottle in my saddle bag, (2) ride to local car wash, (3) park bike outside of carwash in the bright daylight and liberally spray product on my wheels [metal part], swing arms, kick stand and any other areas where I see heavy grime, (4) after a few minutes ride bike inside wand-wash carwash, (5) use high pressure soapy water to remove the grime. From my experience, about 99% of the grime gets removed.
