I was impressed with the density of the turf's surface. We are using this at a driving range and the last product we got from a different company only lasted 3 years. This was at least twice the weight. The product was precisely cut to the measurements we requested, and squarely cut. As we had 50' rolls, this was important for our seems. The grass surface was not 'flattened; from being rolled up, and upon laying it out the turf looked like 'grass', I broomed it one time opposite the lay per instructions and it responded nicely. We did use infill , however it did not need as much as was recommended . Time will tell if this will wear as we get lots of traffic. But for now, we are 100% pleased with appearance and ease of install. It laid flat with no wrinkles.

I’m using the turf for a stance and divot action hitting strip for a golf simulator. The turf seems to be holding up well after thousands of swings, however, the material isn’t nylon and thus yields a green film on your clubs soles and will result in loose green film all over the front of the hitting area. Would rate it as 3.5/5

Product obviously has to be shipped rolled. They start at one end and roll tightly to pack in a bag. When unrolled the one end of the mat has a 4” strip running the width of the 7 feet that will not un-crease and stay down. Waiting for a good sunny day and some bricks. There are other “ripples” in the mat also from the rolling so hopefully they flatten out as well. TBD and will update. Update. Flattened out and doing well 2 years later.

I made a paper pattern of my approx 7 x 14 pro putt 14 yr old system and transfer it to the Altruistic turf .it was fairly easy to cut using a carpet knife. The old turf had shrunk and could not be used as pattern. I am very happy with the product right now. We will see how it holds up to the. Florida sun !

must of been a roll end was not disclosed as being such. Now i have a putting green that has humps in it and i don*t think it will come out. If they would of put a card board tube inside it might of prevented all the creases in the carpet total waste of 250,00. Altruistic should be ashamed of not taking better care of how to ship.

We ordered a 10x25 piece and were surprised when it came folded in a box rather than on a roll. It has been 2 months and despite a phone call (where we were told to put the black side up and lay it flat for a few days) there are a few folds that are still very present. We were also told that stretching it when laying it down would help, but that does not seem to be the case as it has been in place for a few weeks. My recommendation is to make sure it comes on a roll when ordered.

Excellent choice for a golf simulator room!

This "putting grass" will not lay flat. It's been 5 days and looks like it has to be glued down to be like a real putting surface. I wanted a lifelike "grass" for my basement floor. Unless this thing flattens out I most likely will use it a rug.
