The sole will deteriorate within 6 months, but the boots are comfortable during that time.
You'll need to buy two pairs if you wear them regularly. This product is a literal representation of Terry Pratchett's quote regarding "Captain Samuel Vimes 'Boots' theory of socioeconomic unfairness" which in its punchline reads somewhere along the lines of; a person who is rich will buy "a pair of boots that'd still be keeping his feet dry in ten years' time, while the poor man who could only afford cheap boots would have spent a hundred dollars on boots in the same time and would still have wet feet." - Terry Pratchet, Men at Arms: The Play. To get a year of dry feet from these boots, you'll need to buy two pairs, which will cost you £60. If you spend £60 on a single pair of boots, they are more likely to last a lot longer than one year. I would bear this in mind. Other than the issue of the soles wearing out within 6 months of owning the item, the boots themselves are quite comfortable and will not rub. So in terms of cheap boots, they're of the better kind. I hope this helps.

Comfy nice looking boots
Lovely comfy boots. I have broad feet and usually need a half size but not with these. They fit lovely. The green is darker than I expected but still nice .

Tight, uncomfortable, charged on return
Products not good, tight, digs into average legs and feet. Sent back and then got message stating I'd sent something else back instead and have been charged. Avoid!!!!!
