Excellent quality/timely/value.
Absolutely perfect. Our old one disintegrated and my husband was going to through away our whole fire pit. But I thought I’d try and get replacement lid. It fits perfectly! Very pleased!!!

Perfect replacement for my fire pit
This lid fits perfectly (60cm), stayed in place when it was a little breezy .The quality seems good and it's far better than my old lid that I have replaced with it , it's alot deeper than my old lid too.

STRURDY THICK BOWL. BEING S/S SHOULD LAST YEARS WITHOUT RUSTING
THIS WAS JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. SOMETHING IN STAINLESS STEEEL AND HENCE WILL NOT RUST. THE BOWL IS MADE OF THICK SS AND SHOULD LAST FOR YEARS.

It's not rust proof.
I have previously owned a fire pit spark guard, but it's now rusted out. I bought this product because the advert says: “… with high temperature black paint finish. Intricately woven with mesh made of powder-coated steel.” The implication being that it will be rust resistant. On opening the box last night, I was disappointed to read the manufacturer's warning that the black paint is just to prevent damage during transit. And when in use the surface will become hot and the paint will start to flake off. Advised to paint it with heat resistant radiator paint. I didn't put it over the fire pit last night, but already it's got rust starting. For the price, I would expect the manufacturer to spray it with heat resistant paint before dispatching it. Did not arrive with lifting fork, as shown. Handle attachment not strong due to missing washers. Product arrived late. I’m an engineer and this is not a substantial product, I’ll update this review after 1 month’s usage.

A sound product
I was a shade confused about the 60 cm / 80cm description online. This does fit my new 60 cm fire pit, but only just. I was anticipating a touch more tolerance to ensure that the guard was more firmly fixed. Otherwise, it is well made.
