Works as expected.  Just a reminder this cannot be used with card reader and the controls on a jack connected wired headphones does not work.

Unfortunately this item does not serve the intended purpose.  Only works for music and the wire is thin and flimsy. It does not look like it will last long. The point of purchasing this adapter is to replace the original and retain the functionality of it. This adapter is not useful for making or receiving phone calls, which is incredibly frustrating to now have to buy an additional adapter that actually does what this one should.Re:
