Anybody can use these scanners! If you need to drive the vehicle to set readiness for emissions you can send a 2 year old to read this scanner! Press 1 button and see the ❌ turn into a green check mark ✅ . If there is a code it will tell you in the same screen. To get to the codes you have to press a couple of buttons but it’s super easy. ### ⭐ USB Mini port? No internal battery? Really?! It's 2024... *by T***S on October 25, 2024* I am utterly abashed that this thing is being sold in 2024, with a USB Mini port. USB Micro has been in use since 2007 and USB-C since 2014, so to use something that became obsolete in 2007 is asinine. As a tech nerd this makes me immediately lose faith in the quality.Second, there is no internal battery or even a place to throw a 9V to power it. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to lug around a battery pack and jack around with another cable when the internals in this thing could easily fit a battery. Then I noticed it's using Android 4. Android 5 came out in November 2014. No thanks.
