Disney Sidekicks Cooperative Strategy Board Game with Custom Sculpted Figures, for Families, Adults, and Kids Ages 8 and up

This game was fun to play for a 12 year old and a 23 year old. The game was entertaining and keep our minds occupied it was a little difficult learning all the rules at first but when we got it we got it. The game can be played with 2 players as well.

Great family game, as long as you have one older player to manage all the little things. There is a lot of rules to remember each turn so kids will struggle by themselves, but if you want something to do together, this is a solid choice. Some characters are harder to play than others. Plenty of ways to adjust the difficulty to new levels and figure out what is right for your group. The figures are well designed as is the art on the cards, but the tokens for civilians and guards are cheap and easy to lose.

This is a mashup of Castle Panic (a coop game) and Villainous (a cutthroat game, lol). Both games are very fun, and the mashup absolutely works. It is difficult to learn the first time. Not because any parts of it are hard, it's just a lot of little rules that you don't remember until you've done it a few times. Also, the special cards each hero has changes things up - a good thing, but sometimes you're relearning strategy. The pieces are cheap and sometimes too small, but it works and the gameplay is interesting and replayable. I highly recommend if you're willing to play competitive games, enjoy that style, and you are over the age of at least 8 (more likely 10).

Holds great and very entertaining

Gift for my daughter-in-law, and she loved it. The game board and pieces were a great quality, and it looked like a game that would be easy enough to learn and yet offer some challenging play, just like she wants. As far as I know, they haven't played it yet, so can't speak to actual game play, but we were pleased with the overall quality of the game itself.

This game will take 40 minutes to SET UP before you get to the first turn. You will have to read a novel of confusing directions to place a single token, but nobody will be sure why the tokens matter. We're good at tabletop games, RPGs, and following directions, but there's no payoff here. It never gets fun. I'd love to send it back, but we've already punched out all the pieces and probably lost a few.

This was one of my 9yo’s only requests from Santa for Christmas. It was EXTREMELY complicated and difficult to learn, partly because the directions are actually printed wrong. I had to watch several YouTube videos and look up the revised directions online before we could figure out how to play. Setup is complex and takes awhile to figure out. Game play is equally complex. After several frustrating attempts, we finally figured it out, and now we do like it, but I’d never gift it to anyone else without being right there to walk them through playing it. Lots of tokens to figure out, and many of them are VERY tiny. They would be easy to lose, and they are somewhat difficult to handle. Quality is nice, though. Sturdy cards, beautiful double-sided game board for playing with different sized groups. Character tokens are bright and colorful, though we do wish they were painted to be lifelike, instead of solid molded colors. Hard to see detail. In the end, we like the game, but we kind of had to work at liking it. Probably wouldn’t have tried so hard if it weren’t Disney, and such a pretty game.

This is a fun cooperative game for any family. My boys love it, even though they tend to play the same characters each time.

Me parece un buen juego de introducción y no creo que casi nadie se resista a jugar con personajes de Disney. Y sirve para ir aprendiendo de las mecánicas de los juegos modernos de mesa e introducción a este hooby... Estos juegos sirven para fomentar la convivencia y el desarrollo de muchas habilidades para el desarrollo de la vida y el trabajo o emprendimiento. Estos juegos aunque de nivel de niños de 8 + para los que iniciamos en esto y queremos hacer nuestra ludoteca, son unos rompecabezas, porque la mayoría de juegos no están en castellano y aún así son más elaborados que los juegos del supermercado, digamos que lo más fácil es un Risk o monopoly... Le doy 4 estrellas tan solo porque no viene al español

my family and i enjoy this game however it is quite complicated and the instructions are NOT very comprehensive - we had to watch some youtube videos of people playing it to understand how to set it up and play! however once you get the hang of it it is fun, each villain & sidekick character has unique features/abilities which makes it interesting. i am only giving 3 stars due to the lack of good instructions in the box, AND there are many tiny tiny little cardboard pieces that are easy to lose and hard to even see on the board because some of them look so similar. also on the villain/sidekick cards that you keep in front of you, there are important bits of information on the BACK of the card (and nowhere in the instructions!) but once you start playing you cannot just flip these cards over because you have collected stars/hearts on them - so you have to remember everything that is on the back of the card! so especially the first few times playing it is quite confusing.

Instructions definitely could be cleaered
