Review: Manual/Review - The product works wondeful, and makes for a good nightlight/gift. Since the manual is no help, Ill give it to you straight. You are supposed to charge it for 2-4 hours for it to fully charge, it will change from a faint red to a faint blue color. Though you are still able to use it while it is charging. You'll know that it is on if you can clearly see the light in a well lit room. You may turn it on by pressing the ON/OFF button on the bottom of the ball, or by simply pressing ON on the remote. To turn it off it is the same, except you have to hold the button on the bottom of the ball. The remote already comes with a battery. If you have a defective unit, the seller will gladly work with you to make things right, whether it's reimbursement or replacement. An overall good product and experience, since I had to return my unit. I would recommend buying one, and might buy another one as a separate gift.

This was so beautiful, but fully stopped charging after less than a month, and now it doesn't work and its useless. Also, when it did work, the battery life was so short. Don't waste your money on this and instead invest in a better ball lamp like Ikea.
