Great quality rattan furniture simple to put together great value for money

This rattan furniture set has completely transformed my patio. The design looks elegant and modern, and the brown rattan blends beautifully with my garden surroundings. Assembly was straightforward, with clear instructions and all the necessary tools included. It only took about 30 minutes to get everything set up. The chairs and sofa are surprisingly comfortable for a rattan set, with cushions that are soft yet supportive. Rapid delivery. this is a fairly small set which is great and what we wanted because it is going at the side of a larger dining set of the same style. The size of the set is clearly marked in the description so not a problem to us but may be to some that do not read it properly. The set looks classy enough, quality is okay v cost paid. It is great value for money. Sadly it is a nightmare to assemble. The bolts are marginally too short and therefore hard to get the initial bite. I had to clamp it in places to get initial bite and on one of them I had to omit washer to get the bolt in the thread. Lining up the holes is tight too. Luckily I have a socket set with the relevant "hex" (Allan) type fittings, without which I would have been completely stuffed. There is no way that I would have been able to assemble the set with the supplied hex key. In all I am pretty happy. Quality and all things considered v Cost I would have given 5 starts had it not been so horrid to assemble. Its a smart looking set and looks great on our decking along side existing furniture of the same style.

Very happy with this!! Wasn't sure about putting it together as it was a little tricky at first, but after reading the reviews, the main point was not to tighten the screws until the end. Putting together was no problem, just took a little time, but it was worth it.

Followed manufacturer instructions and assembled all parts loosely, before tightening bolts. Power screwdriver with flexi attachment allowed fast assembly than just using the alen key provided. All bolts for setee and chairs are the same size. Coffee table bolts are a tad shorter. The tempered glass top for the coffee table is a petfect fit. Be aware that the same instructions apply to 3 different types of furniture. The diagram was not of the Madrid set that I bought. The box containing securing bolts and washers was marked as'1 of 2'. However, all necessary parts were in one box. To make it easier to assemble select a pair of side panels for each of the chairs and setee. NB All side panels are the same size. Hand screw the bolts as far as you can to ensure you match the bolt to the thread of the nuts. These should screw in easily by hand, then finish by tightening with the alen key provided or use an electric screwdriver with correct size alen key bit. I the bolt doesn't screw in easily then you've crossed the bolt thread which will feel very difficult to tighten, and you may damage the thread. I suspect that comnents about ill-fitting parts are because of incorrectly aligning bolts with the nuts built into the furniture. You will find that there are rectangulsr slits for the bolts to allow 'wiggle room' for easy assembly. I had no problem with any part of the assembly as all parts had been accurately prepared by the manufacturer. The end result is an attractive, comfortable, well desugned, and well made 4 piece garden set, which I highly recommend.

Well made and good size garden chairs and table. Strong sturdy construction and easy to assemble with two people even though I did it myself. Looks great in my garden, purchases cover also as winters coming. Nice colour, show last a long time.

Good comfortable garden furniture for a reasonable price. Easy to assemble. Put your bolts in place an lightly tighten, so not fully tighten until fully assembled and then work your way around as you would the nuts in a car tyre. The nuts started to show specks of rust very quickly. I'm hoping regular applications of WD40 and a good waterproof cover will slow the gradual deterioration.

Very happy with my purchase. Came in one box. Ordered one day and it was here the next day. Fiddly to put together but overall was easy. I tried to do it myself but was much easier with2 people. Good value for the money
