as shown.. Review: The First Truely Excellant CD in This Series - A great journey down memory lane. I remember most of the themes from the first five volumes of this set. After the mid Eighties, I watched very little commercial TV so the last two volumes of this set have little to offer me. This is the first CD in this series that has good quality sound throughout. There isn't any of the excentuated bass or highs. I noticed none of the over modulation that was apparent in the vocal tracks of several tunes on the second CD. Since this material is newer than that on the previous two CDs, it is not surprising that the resulting CD is better. These recordings were made using reasonably modern equipment and with the expectation that the network was capable of transmitting good quality sound. Also people were demanding better quality sound as their receiving equipment improved. Of course, it may simply be that the producers finally chose to produce the best possible collection from the available material. My memory is far from perfect when it comes to precisely identifying music from thirty years ago, but all of these tracks seem to be the original themes from the several TV series. This is the first CD in this series that can be highly recommended for the purist as well as those who simply want a strole down memory lane. Review: Wow, 65 Television Theme Songs Each! - These DVD's are great! I've loaded each one into my iPod Touch (32GB), except for dang Volume #5, which I can't seem to find at a reasonable price! What I did was, removed the volume numbers and disk numbers from the "Get Info," so that all 390 theme songs (65 x Vols. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, & 7) show in alphabetical order. Then, I play them back, without looking, and try to guess the title of each one! Some are easy, and some are tough. They're in alphabetical order for the beginner, or, turn on "Shuffle," for the more advanced listener! It's a lot of fun, and brings back fond memories!

Original Songs--Except for SCOOBY DOO :(
What I REALLY wanted was the original recording of the theme for Barney Miller--my older brothers would rock out to it when we were kids, and if I can tease them with it now...well, that's gotta be mine. BUT THEN THERE'S ALL THE OTHER STUFF TOO!!! Welcome Back, Kotter, Josie and The Pussycats, Rockford Files...the only disappointment was Scooby Doo. No one cares about the new theme, but the older one was OUTSTANDING. "If we can count on you, Scooby Doo, I know we'll catch that villain" <3

Television's Greatest Hits
This cd is the perfect way to go down memory lane with original cuts of the theme music from TV shows. And a great way to have a home made family game nite by either having to name the TV show or being able to sing the lyrics! Lots of great memories too!! Wonderful collection to have.

Prompt service, good product
I was happy that my purchase arrived actually a little sooner than I expected. The 2 CDs completed my collection of TV Tunes and commercials.

As someone who enjoys tv theme songs, this is great for the collection that I have. Listening to the themes sure brings back a lot of childhood memories.

こういう類いの作品は、カバーの可能性もあり、聴くまでは半信半疑でしたが、なんと、全部オリジナル!当時の番組のそのものでした!よく集めたものだと感心すると同時に、気分はもう当時を思い出していました。最高の作品です。

I love these compilations, I did have this on vinyl but CD is much more accessible, all original tracks from the 70s and 80s and I remember most of them here in the UK. Info about each track is detailed and concise. Very satisfied with my purchase

Leider keine Originale Titelmelodien. Besonders bei Dynasty und Dallas zu erkennen. Für Fans von Originalen: Hände weg. P.S. Diesmal erfolgte der Versand sehr schlecht, so dass die CD-Hülle beidseits gebrochen war.
