**Q: I have finished canvases that are 1 1/2 inch thick. Will the metal pieces that hold the canvas erect make dents in the front of the canvases?**
A: It hasn’t on mine yet.

**Q: Can this hold wood framed paintings that are 2 inches in thickness?  What is the distance between the separators?**
A: Thanks for your question. It holds canvases or framed paintings with a width up to 1.5 inches. The separators are roughly 1.5 inches wide.
