It really works well in the car as the magnet is very strong. My phone doesn’t move at all on the dashboard. I bought this in the hope to salvage the $24.99 I already spent on this stupid mount, because 2 magnets and a metal plate must be better than just one small magnet right ?, Wrong . Just today I found it wobbling, as checked to see the problem the phone along with the adapter magnetic and pad. Had I not noticed, phone no. 2 would have cracked too. Time to cut my losses and look elsewhere. They use the most flimsy tiny piece of plastic which breaks.
