Mont Marte Impasto Acrylic Medium 500ml (17oz)

Good this viscosity to mix colour for pallet knife drawing.

Good quality

Mixes well with acrylics, adds good thick texture, does not distort color, dries quickly compared to similar mediums

UPDATE it's like using melted butter AND it only works best with certain type of acrylic. Heavy based acrylic. Still learning. It's not as easy as it looks in videos especially for a beginner. 'm very excited to try impasto artwork. I've used modeling paste to create abstract artwork. Impasto is different type of implication.

Use this for abstract art. Love the way it adds texture to artwork.

As an artist, I’ve found this Mont Marte Impasto Acrylic Medium really useful for adding texture and body to my work. It mixes easily with acrylic paint and does a great job of thickening it without affecting the colour too much. I like how it holds brush and palette knife marks – it lets me build up layers and create more dimension in my paintings. It also dries well without cracking, which has been an issue I’ve had with other mediums in the past. A little goes a long way, so the 500ml bottle lasts a while even with regular use. It’s become a staple in my studio for adding that extra bit of depth and texture when I need it. Overall, a simple but effective product that does exactly what it’s meant to do.
