    Great book for younger children

We bought this book for our son who is diagnosed with ASD and PDA and gets angry quite easily. It is written really well and so that a child can understand without patronising them. I wish I'd found this book when he was a bit younger, he was 12 when we bought him this and he found it a bit babyish. Well thought out book though and would recommend.

Well written and concise, this book is easy for kids to understand but the points are good for parents as well. Makes reader feel okay about feeling anger. Great message.

    Great approach for kids

I've found all the books we've read from the Elf-Help series to be really good. They have a great approach to dealing with angry feelings in this book - and it's been useful to provide terminology that says being angry is fine as long as you don't take it out on yourself, others or things.There is a chapter that references God, which we skip as we're not religious, but that is the only thing that I don't like & that would be fine for most people. Even for us non-religious types the way the God references are written are not too overbearing or judgemental & are easy enough to explain away to small kids.I would highly recommend any books from this series, regardless of your belief system.
