I bought this to keep my AU daughter occupied for the summer. She loved it and finished it in a few hours( of course). Tons go pieces, instructions and diagrams are on the back of the front picture, keep up with this because it tells you the #'s for the pieces. Pieces are NOT # on the wood itself. You put it together as so: #1 connects to #2, #2 connects to #3, etc...so, it can review counting as well. I do not know if I could do this puzzle, I don't really get into puzzles. I would imagine myself to have gotten frustrated and made the sunken version of this puzzle, but my kid loved it & now she has a cool decoration for her room that she built herself, worth the price! :)

Grandson is learning about titanic at school he was pleased with the material it was built out of.

Loved the puzzle. But that bit about not needing tools or glue is BS. I guess they make so many of these that the tolerances on the cutting machine aren't what they should be. That little one inch square of sand-paper only goes so far. But I've done a lot of these models now, and I keep a cheap package of sandpaper on hand to fine tune the ends. And if you don't want it to fall apart, I recommend Gorilla glue. I use the blue topped super glue since it doesn't foam up. So, glue, a decent hobby knife, and sand paper.

I almost threw this away after barely starting. The instructions are difficult. Some of the wooden pieces broke apart when I was trying to pop them out of the frame. I did try again to put it together. It took a lot of time and frustration and I didn't even bother to put the lifeboats on or finish the smokestacks. Once it was all together though it looks pretty nice. If you have patience, time, and some sandpaper, I would recommend it. But I personally did not enjoy putting it together.

I was surprised when I received this. I expected a box and received a bundle of flat boards with stuff you have to punch out. This was my father-in-laws Yule. gift and I was a little disappointed and I believe so was he. I must of misread the listing because there was nothing with this be the punch out stuff no paint no glue no nothing just boards. Not pleased but not completely dissatisfied either as we did at least get the ship punch outs. Now we just have to wait and see if they work.
