Ramblewood 4 Burner 30" Electric Cooktop, EC4-60, UL rated German EGO burner

Looks good, works great. The unit is easy to use and to clean. I have had and used the stove for several weeks now so I can attest that its quality is not just original but lasts. I like the pilot light that indicates which burners are hot, not which burners are on (although having both might be nice when a quick look to determine if any of the burners are on might be helpful). Installation was reasonably easy, although I had to modify the cut out in my counter as the stove I was replacing was a different size. (I'm not sure that I think the cut-out size for, say, 30 inch stoves should be standardized. I doubt that the industry would comply voluntarily, and I doubt that we want the government to regulate it.) I did have some questions regarding how to wire the new stove. The included owners manual was not very helpful as it recommends that the stove be installed by a professional. I did find, in several places including the manufacture's web site, a set of instructions. I had further questions (perhaps due to my ignorance). Through e-mail communication the staff at Ramblewood quickly tried to help and put me in contact with a professional installer who answered my questions. The web site instructions have since been clarified. I would give both the stove and the staff at Ramblewood a rating of five out of five stars.

My husband and I are very happy with our new stovetop! It was fairly easy to install. It cooks quickly, evenly and I really like the knobs on the side.

Has trouble heating very wide pans. Slightly larger burners would be an advantage. Otherwise, its a decent stovetop at a good price.

I am thoroughly impressed.. This was the only unit that would accommodate my electrical limitations. But, I did my research and found that with German elements and Italian ceramics, the potential was there to surpass anything made in China. I was well rewarded. I actually enjoy cooking again. The elements function extremely well. Electrical cooktops can be tricky but the increase between 1 and 9 is measured in exact amounts. It heats surprisingly fast and cools down quickly as well. It's easy to clean and looks fantastic. This is one great unit.

Product was as described, and the appearance far exceeded my expectations. So easy to install. I love the sleek frameless look. It is just perfect. I've had several glass top stoves, but this stove top is easier and faster to clean than any other glass top I've had. I was a little skeptical because the price was so competitive, but this stove top proved to provide a great, quality product at a very competitive price.

This is a UK unit. This means that it has about half the wattage so yes it will work, yes it looks nice but it will only give you half the power you want. Takes over 15min for a pot of water to boil. And anything you want to cook will take 2 to 3 times as long. Buyer beware.

Looks nice, installed easy. Concerned that the "Break-in" period for First Use is not detailed with adequate documentation of what to expect. There are small wisps of smoke coming from the corners as we performed First Use per Owners Manual. This may be normal during the burn-off period. But the Owners Manual should cover this possibility. The fact that it does not even mention it is my cause for concern. Contacted Ramblewood Green C/S. Will update as concerns are resolved by manufacturer. UPDATE: Ramblewood C/S was slow to respond, smoke appears to have resolved after daily usage - but, we have not been thru a heavy workout or large gathering such as Thanksgiving, Christmas etc. 1 MUST have items for Glass-Top is good stainless steel cookware to minimize surface scratches.

I do not write reviews very often, however, I think this product and company deserves a 5 star rating. I spent hours researching to make sure I got the perfect fit and I wanted knobs. My original kitchen installer had me order an induction cooktop, what a disaster. It never worked properly, it is a name brand who would not back their product. I even had to buy new pots! Anyway, I wanted old fashioned electric. It came in quickly, well packed, extra knobs, wired and ready to go. My electrician commented how well everything was packed with extra knobs and pre-wired, he said "I've never seen a cooktop so well packed and ready to go" It went in like and dream and heats up great! Also, I like the fact that there are no obtrusive white circles for the burners. They are grey and very subtle. A class act!

This stovetop fit the opening perfectly and everything works exactly as expected, with no problems at all

All fits exactly.

There were no large burners for big frying pans or pots; two small and two medium. Also, there is not lip around the stove top so it has to fit perfectly. It was 1/2" too narrow so I had to return it.
