I spent over $150 last year on Cortex fasteners and figured that each one of those plastic caps cost about 25 cents. It was like dropping gold when one slipped from my fingers. I wished for a less expensive option and well, my wish was answered! These are good as the Cortex screws and plugs. A couple of differences: 1. The box that I received has 2.75 inch screws vs the 2 inch Cortex. 2. The description said "no tool included" when I ordered it but it came with one. This tool is much more substantial than the Cortex tool. It's a depth limiting cam tool that looks like it takes regular Torx bits. That will be easier to manage than the special Cortex bit. I highly recommend this option.

I bought these to save a little cash vs the cortex product. Screws are good, but their installation bit is spring loaded and has no detent to stay in your inpact drivers chuck. So when you set the screw and pull the drill back….. it springs out of the chuck with force. The plugs I received were all different thicknesses and all of them had to be rubbed on 150 grit sandpaper to seat flush. I tried both their bit and Cortex bit. Their plugs are too long. I think the 275 pack of cortex is only $10.00 more. Not worth the aggravation. Bit and plugs are junk.
