The lamp works fine very clear.

Is this bulb an original "OEM" lamp or a compatible copy?

Not sure about originality, but it works.

Is this item an epson product and if not, is it the exact same bulb that comes from the factory when a brand new epson 2045 projector is purchased

We did not receive an Epson branded bulb but the replacement fit well and has worked since we purchased it. Overall it seems to have been a good value.
