I bought this one in particular to be the "fast tier" in a Windows Storage Space, in an external enclosure. The EVO line quality is not as good as the Pro, but for my purposes and the speeds involved (it's basically caching 48TB of mechanical disks-- by the way, the "Renewed" 12TB WD disks on Amazon happen to be brand new.)
