I have them at all my computer stations. Laptop or PC.
I love them, I have them at all my computer stations. Laptop or PC. The ability to switch external SSD and Sata hard drives on and off. I have used them for years and they are still my go to hub.

Reliable USB Hub with Plenty of Ports and Easy Connectivity
This USB hub works really well and does exactly what I needed it to do. The functionality is solid, and having multiple ports with individual switches makes it easy to control what is connected without unplugging everything. It offers a good number of ports, which is perfect if you have a lot of devices. Everything connects smoothly, and I have not had any issues with connectivity or devices not being recognized. The size is fairly compact for how many ports it has, so it does not take up too much space on my desk. The cable length is also decent and gives enough flexibility to place it where you need it. For the price, it feels like a great value considering how many ports and features you get. Overall, it is a reliable and practical USB hub that makes managing multiple devices much easier.

UPDATE: Vendor replaced defective unit.
UPDATED Update: EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT Customer Service! If I could rate it 11 I would! Just made it through hurricane Idalia and the vendor came through in spite of the mess. Would buy again! Very good with communication, and the product works as expected. Thank you, SO MUCH, to Lucy and the team at ambs! Update: After contacting the vendor, they requested I run some rudimentary diagnostics - try a different USB port, make sure it was USB 3.0, connect it to a different PC, etc. It allowed me to find that several of the USB ports had indeed failed. I communicated this to the vendor, and included the image, where you can see that the newer unit has a different shade of blue on the indicator lights. The power was not getting to the ports, apparently? In any event, they sent a replacement, immediately. As I mentioned in my first review of this hub, it is VERY good. I run about 12TB external HDDs for image and video production storage and need to have a reliable USB hub. This one is definitely a workhorse! Outstanding customer support, and would buy again! SEE UPDATE ABOVE -- I liked this when it was working correctly. It's been a bit over a year, and the USB connection to the PC is wonky. If I add a flash drive, it doesn't recognize the device. I tried using Device Manager to add/remove, but it only sees 5 drives, not any more than that. I have Aukey hub as well, and it works fine. I love the illuminated buttons/USB ports, but I guess I am going to have to get something else fairly soon.

Cords are very short
Works for all kinds of things, but would be great if the cords were both 6 feet long, so you could reach a multitude of places. Especially the electric cord, which is just shy of 4 feet long. The splitter cord is about 2-3 foot long. Not sure how fast this charges yet as we just got them. Also, I see people complaining about the brightness of the blue lights. I am Autistic and have sensitivity to light and don't find them that bad.

Easily connect 9 devices including 4 external hard drives
Tried multiple hubs, only this one actually works. I am currently connecting nine devices with the hub: four external hard drives, two mouses, a stylus pen tablet, a webcam, and a SD card reader. All of them work great and smoothly, no clicking from the hard drives, no delays from the stylus and mouses. I was a little worried when I saw some of the reviews mentioned issues with external drives, probably they didn't connect the external power, which is needed. Each port has a switch with a press to turn on and press & hold to turn off, which is actually very considerate as it prevent you from accidently turn a port off when a hard drive is reading/writting. The material is solid, not cheap at all. I don't like the glossy finishing though. It will be much nice if it is matte. The LED lights on each port are a little too bright, which is not necessary and sometimes bothersome. Overall a great USB 3.0 hub, at least comparing to all other hubs I have tried.

Great product
I love that each port has a separate light.. if you're not using one, it can be turned off.. I can charge all of my rechargeable items at once.. Instead of using 10 cubes all over the house lol So glad I bought this..

Great quality for the money and a company that stands by their product
I didn't originally think the power switch on each outlet was useful, but it turns out that some of my devices draw power even when they aren't being used, so now I use it. This has 10 output ports and is full USB 3 speed (I have an external drive connected through the hub and I get ~3.8 Gbps transfer speed -- 85% as fast as I get with my external solid-state drive that is directly connected to the computer. That is far better than I expected. Because it is plugged into a power outlet, it can provide up to 2.4 W to a single device as needed (I wouldn't want to try to use all 10 at once but it has the capability). To top it off, I had a problem with my hub after 14 months. I contacted atolla, hoping to get some kind of discount if I bought a new one. They simply replaced my hub at no cost! They also provide very fast response technical help. Overall, not only is this a great hub at a very reasonable price, the company stands behind their products to a level far beyond most others.
