If you're looking to put this between the tank and the pump you'll want an after cooler in line before it. That way you're not exceeding that 140f. I am in NY so it will freeze in the winter.** A: No, this unit has an internal float drain that will automatically drain out excess moisture once the internal float floats. You cannot drain manually unless you release pressure from your compressed air lines and removed the 1/4 turn bowl by hand and dumped out. You could connect a 110V timer drain to the bottom of the bowl and manually turn on your Timer drain to remove moisture from the bowl. Generally speaking, you would need the manual drain version in order to drain manually.
