It's really the only way to pancake
It's super easy to make pancakes in the morning with this product. I've experienced very few products that I have no complaints about but this is one. I love that the bottle opens at the bottom for easy filling. I flip it upside down and rest the nozzle in the base. I use this to make pancakes from scratch. I add the egg to the bottle and shake it to break the yolk then add the rest of the wet then dry ingredients. I close up the bottle without the whisk and give it a couple of vigorous shakes and the batter comes together perfectly. I use cassava flour and was worried the batter would be too heavy to come out but it wasn't. I've even used it to make waffles with no problem. I love it most because I can fill the pan with even sized pancakes with so little mess that I no longer hate pancake day. I find it fairly easy to clean because both the bottom and top come off. Overall it's a super useful way to make pancakes quickly with minimal mess and simple clean up.

Great for any type of mixing.
I liked the idea of using this as a pancake mixer and pouring bottle. It worked very well, easy to clean and convenient. My wife chose not to use it relying on a bowl and fork to mix. I like using it as I do. This bottle was pitched as a healthy drink or slushy bottle which I guarantee would work just as well. This was also very easy to clean. Strongly recommend this bottle because it simply works very well.

This is one of THE best things I've ever purchased from Amazon!
Okay, this might seem as though I’m going over the top in my enthusiasm for the Whiskware Pancake Batter Mixer, but I really DO think that this is one of THE best things I’ve purchased from Amazon…EVER! This gadget works amazingly well. It is easy to use and the results are good enough to eat! (Excuse my pun, but I couldn’t resist!) The directions are simple. This is what I did yesterday morning: 1)I put in the wire ball that comes with the mixer into the container. 2) I Put in my wet ingredients. (In my case, this was one beaten egg and ¾ cup of whole milk. 3) I Put in my dry ingredients. In this case, I used Carbons Golden Malted Pancake and Waffle Mix which I will DEFINITELY write a review about! It is so easy to make your own pancake/waffle mix, but Carbon’s is in a league of its own. For this recipe, I used one cup of pancake mix. Hint: measure out your dry ingredients, whether a mix of your own from a recipe into a small bowl and then use a spoon to put your dry ingredients into top of the mixer. 4) I screwed the top of the mixer on tightly and then shook the daylights out of the mixer! Hint: Try rotating the mixer after you’ve shaken it in one position. This will help ensure that no dry ingredients stick to the sides. 5) My recipe called for adding a few tablespoons of melted butter. After doing that I shook the container again to make sure the butter had blended in. Then it was time to make some pancakes! 6) I heated up my nonstick pan and added some butter. 7) I unscrewed the top of the container and let some pancake batter flow out into my pan. Because my batter was thin, I didn’t have to squeeze. If your batter was thick, you might have to, but I don’t imagine it would be a problem. 8) When the edges of my pancake were firmed up, I flipped it and saw that it was a beautiful golden brown! In no time at all, pancake #1 was on my plate, waiting to get buttered, followed by pancakes #2-#5. These were small pancakes, just the way I like ‘em, in a nice little stack. Time for some locally produced maple syrup, and voila, breakfast is served! Hint: One thing I learned in culinary school was to ALWAYS use a warm plate when serving warm food because it REALLY sucks to have what you’ve taken a lot of time and effort to prepare to arrive to your customer, cold!!! 9) After a quick photograph of what I had prepared to share with all of you Amazon shoppers, it was TIME TO EAT! All I can say about how well my Whiskware Pancake Batter Mixer worked is YUM! 10) I still had some pancake batter left, so I screwed the top on and put the container in the refrigerator. This morning I took the container out of the refrigerator and saw that my batter had solidified, undoubtedly because it contained butter. I couldn’t warm it in the microwave, because of the wire ball, so I filled a large bowl with warm water, and put my container in until the batter was back to normal. Then it was time to repeat what I had done yesterday and enjoy another “short stack” of delicious pancakes! One feature that I like about this product is its ability to store batter for when you need it. Another feature is that you can easily make whatever SIZE pancake you like. Personally, I enjoy small ones. I haven’t had a chance to try this out yet with my waffle maker but will probably do so soon. I imagine it will be easier to control the amount of batter, so as NOT to overfill the waffle maker. Don’t you hate when that happens, and you have a mess to clean up? Speaking of cleaning up, cleaning the Whiskware was easy as pie. Simply rinse out any excess batter, put in some dish soap along with some warm water, and shake. The wire ball helps mix up the soap. Rinse everything until clean and you’re all set until next time. If you enjoy pancakes and waffles, I HIGHLY recommend the Whiskware Pancake Batter Mixer. I don’t think you will be disappointed! I’m not being paid to write this glorious review, but if the manufacturers feel like sending me some special pancake mix, I wouldn’t complain. (hint-hint!)

Fails as Blender, Okay as Dispenser
Let me start by saying that I bought this for making waffles and that this is the first dispenser that I’ve ever used. All I have to compare it to is a bowl and whisk for blending/mixing and a measuring cup for measuring how much to use and pouring it into the waffle maker. Blending/Mixing: This thing was terrible. No matter how much I shook, I could tell that the batter was not well mixed. Heck, most of the egg yolk was stuck to the side of the container. I had to open it up and use a spoon to stir it. When I fished the whisk ball out, it had flour caked inside of it. I had to get that out and stir some more. I wound up having to add more liquid, because (despite being the recipe I’ve always used) the batter was too thick. One of the waffles would not brown in one section. I believe it is because it wasn’t properly mixed. If I used this dispenser again, I will mix the batter in a bowl with a whisk and then pour it into the dispenser. Less arm work and much better control. Dispensing: I would say the ability to control how and where I dispense makes this thing worth using. With the measuring cup, I always wound up with overflow while cooking, or weirdly shaped incomplete waffles that looked like they had tentacles, and some times both. With this one, I only had overflow once and tentacles on the last one, which didn’t have enough batter. (Well, I did have enough, but most of it was stuck to the walls of the dispenser.) I will say it was annoying that I had to keep putting the cap back on and storing the dispenser on the small cap. Otherwise, the batter was all at the wrong end and I had to shake and tap on the counter to get it to come back to the tip.. The cap needs to have a wider tip, so that it’s easier to make it stand up. Also, a lot of the batter stuck to the sides of the dispenser. I think that had to do with poor mixing, though. So, will I used this again? Yes, but only as a dispenser. Which kinda sucks, because doing it that way actually makes more dishes, when I was hoping for less. Am I happy with this product? Not really. There were two reasons for buying it. One was a total fail and the other was just okay.

Surprisingly handy
This has been a great addition to our kitchen! Not only does it work as intended for making pancakes and waffles, but it doubles as a shaker for making protein drinks! My favorite part is that it cuts out the inevitable mess that occurs when transferring batter from bowl to pan, so the counters and stove top stay clean. I've found that the max is two cups of pancake/waffle powder mix in the bottle or there won't be enough room to mix it all up. I tend to add half the water, shake it, then add more at a time until it's the desired thickness. This makes enough pancakes for three to four adults depending on hunger levels and other breakfast items served with.

Super helpful
I use this every time I make batter for waffles and pancakes nowadays and it's great to both cut down on dishes and also have the kitchen mess-free when pouring batter. The only thing to be aware of is that it's good to layer dry and wet ingredients, starting and ending with wet, so the dry ingredients won't get stuck in crevices around the bottle.

So easy to use!
Pancake making is now so easy. You can control how much you pour and you can save the batter for a few days...if it lasts! I also like making it the night before so I can just start cooking in the morning so it is so useful having the batter in this.

Works great!
Great! No leaks! Fantastic for poffertjes and waffles and smaller pancakes. Not so suitable for larger pancakes. Mixes very well, no clumps. Cleans up easily.
