I usually buy normal throws, and was a little hesitant to buy a "dog" blanket since I was worried about quality. This blanket has far exceeded my expectations. Although it's waterproof, it is very soft and feels like a normal blanket. It has two layers, so it's sturdy, and the color is a very pretty pink on one side and a fluffy white "sherpa" on the other side. It doesn't slide as much as a regular blanket with the sherpa side down, so it's stayed tucked into the couch very well. Doesn't seem to attract or show dog hair as much as some of my other velour throws. The price was amazing for the size and quality. The blanket saved my regular blankets and bedding so many times. It never leaked through.It’s very soft and held up really well. I think I washed it 1-2 daily for about 20 days. I got cream color because my cats are mostly light or white. It’s the size of your average throw blanket.
