It works great for empanada dough. It's not as great with butter pie dough but if I chill it first the dough doesn't stick. Still having fun trying out different dough.

I liked that it was easy to use, especially in making fried apple pies.

Been needing one of these for awhile and finally bought one..my husband Loves the portion provided with this. I made apple tarts and he was over the moon! Will use for breakfast pockets, lunch pockets and the such...have to get used to the amt you can put in without squishing out but a work in prog. Feels well made, cleans well, like the final size like personal and will fill you.

I didn’t like it, to bulky and hard to use. I returned it and they sent me another one, which I didn’t want, I wanted my money back to the credit card. Very disappointed with this item and the service.

I love the fact that its made from metal, very sturdy, easy to use. HOWEVER TOO BAD, it seem that it was bigger by description, no good for me, cant use it way too small. If someone knows of a real finished 7" metal empanada dough I would love to know about it.

I have wanted one of these empanada makers for a long time to make little pies. The ones I had seen before were too small. As I look at this one, I can think of little cherry pies or perhaps a burrito sandwich reinvented or even something new and creative shared with each of us from those wonderfully clever home cooks on the you-tube:) Oh, the thing I like best about this particular tool - it is the only one that includes a round cutter just the right size.
