UPDATE. After riding about a week both spherical rod ends have come out. These are the parts that press fit into the shock mount and on the end of the damper rod itself.......luckily I did not wipe out when the damper body wedged into my front tire at 60 mph. This kind of poor design ( inadequate press fit) is totally unacceptable......Of course being a Chinese company you would have little legal recourse if you were seriously injured or killed. Buyer beware! I installed this damper on a 26" fat tire ebike. After upgrading to 96 volts and hitting speeds of 70mph I thought a damper would be a good idea ;-). Happy to say that this product worked well. It had a large range of damping adjustment and did not exhibit any binding or free spots in the damper itself and no sign of weeping on the seal. Also there was no free play, flex or binding in the linkage itself. Also regarding installation, If you look at a lot of the reviews where the reviewer is stating the damper does not work well, you will see that the damper to fork crown angle is not at a 90° angle. It is imperative that the damper to fork crown/tube mounting is as close as possible to 90° when the bike is going straight so that the greatest amount of damper movement is created. The only thing that would be a great option is to offer the damper in different stroke lengths so that greater turning angle can be achieved without sacrificing......damper movement to steering input ratio. As it stands on my installation (albeit not the usual) I had to give up a fair amount of turning angle which while not an issue in street riding...It does limit turning around and single track trail riding. It is a great product, but it doesn't come with mounting brackets, as a universal bracket would not be possible. I used truck light bar CNC clamps from Amazon and various hardware to mount it. It can be adjusted by reaching down and turning a dial. I use settings 1-8 for on-road and 8-16 for off-road. There is also a 3" longer version. Excellent shipping and return policy.

Started to leak after 2 rides

Seems pretty decent and good quality! Was custom install on a custom motorcycle. I have several JFG Racing components on my MX bike and they have held up pretty well. I like the fit and finish and dampens pretty well, I guess time will tell.

Bought about a year and six months ago and lasted a bit over a year after hydraulic fluid leaked out and is unusable now will have to replace. It does work for intended use and feels and looks great probably would value it around $40 personal opinion

I do a fair amount of helicopter flight sim. so I modify throttle controls into helicopter collectives. This damper is perfect for protecting the throttle from exceeding its physical limitations. Also being fully adjustable , adds a bit more realism to the controls. As for use on motorcycles, I cannot attest to its performance. Although, build quality and overall look and feel are 100% Love the carbon fiber.

got tired of handlebars vibrating with every little bump or spot not perfect in the rosd. purchased this damper, and what a difference, like night and day. nice and smooth ride now, no vibrations felt in handdlebars at all. I you are considering a mod for your ryker, don't hesitate. worth every penny spent.
