Excellent cushions, designed to add character to your house. Good instructions, nothing is too difficult and the use of fabric patterns and colours is very clever. A matching quilt could easily be made by those into quiltmaking.

Stash Books timed the release of Ms. Bostic's book perfectly: late January is exactly when I need this kind of book! I've been a reader of Ms. Bostic's blog for several years, and am glad I didn't miss this book. After paging through with a cup of tea, I've found at least four projects I'd like to start on right this minute, and several more "challenge" projects that I might grow into a bit. I appreciate the section in the end about the different types of pillow construction, and am glad that it isn't assumed that we "just know" how to put together a pillow. And of course, the photography is excellent and appealing. I'm glad to have this little book to replace my mess of Flickr favorites-links-tutorials!

This is a really diverse book, suitable for both beginners and those with more experience. Great project ideas, great photos, and easy to follow instructions. Would make a great gift for a fellow quilty or sewing friend!

Based on the reviews I was expecting a lot more from this book. If you know how to sew and quilt, skip it. This is a beginner's book. There are a few cool patterns I will try, but most I could have come up with myself. I will be giving this to my neice who is learning how to sew, as she is a better audience for this book.

Great ideas and inspirations to make pillows..some are quite innovative and the colors are beautiful! If you enjoy sewing, you will like this book.

I'm very happy with this book. The pillow designs are modern. The techniques vary from simple patchwork to curves and applique. There are multiple projects in this book that I want to make. The pillows are well photographed. The instructions and diagrams are clearly written.

Beautiful range of projects with varying levels of difficulty from beginner (with a little guidance) to accomplished. Working your way through this book will raise your sewing skills and add beautiful décor to your home.

This really is a great book.The designs are inspiring and the photos and instructions are clear and precise. I am quite an experienced sewer, but have limited experience with quilting.This book has so many different ideas in it that I can't wait to get into my stash of material and start. All the projects are small enough to complete without feeling overwhelmed and have a great modern feel I would highly recommend anyone,of any skill,to buy this book.
