yeah, pretty much, they have enough edge and weight where you could just do a gravity cut on a melon or pumpkin with no effort

A great display piece

This item makes a great display piece. It does not come sharpened and I wouldn't recommend doing so unless you're skilled at it. It is very light weight and it is a short sword. I have had it hanging on my wall for sometime and it gets a lot of compliments.

Pretty good.

Not a traditionally made sword made closer to how a machete is made than a sword. Pretty sharp the red tint of the blade is a nice touch. I would recommend this product to anybody who's like a fan of anime.

Doesnt arrive as it appears in the pictures

The pictures of this blade on the amazon page seem more powerful than the scrawny item you will receive. Mine came with, as the photos show, a scuff mark and scratches. Half an inch shorter than described. Dont get this if you are looking for a manly blade- thats not what i got.
