I needed to replace a cheaper version of this that was made of flat shoestring like material that had developed a constant twist . This has a fixed length and a much thinner profile and is significantly more durable. It is relatively easy to mount, but requires a little fiddling, but stays in place. This manufacturer makes ones that are adjustable, models that have a range of lengths as well as ones that mount somewhat differently, but also stay in place.

Simple product, well made. Stiff wire makes it easy to put on and take off over head. Only problem is getting hair-earlobe skin grease inside of the silicone socks, that are supposed to fit over the ends of the glasses arms. Once greasy glasses arms wipe their grease inside the silicone, .... this retainer won't hold onto the glasses !! The fix is periodic alcohol Q-tip swap cleaning of the inside of the silicone socks and the ear hooks of your glasses.

I kept dropping my glasses everytime I bent over while working or would tuck them into my shirt. NOT ANYMORE! These things are a lifesaver. I just pop up off my glasses and know they'll just fall and be caught! I also thought the metal cord would get annoying but after a few days it's gained some flexibility and doesn't even bother my neck. If your looking for something so your glasses don't fall and it's not that big and bulky this is it! I got the all black version so it doesn't stand out at all.

I wanted to like them and did initially, until I wore them. In use, the earpieces, the part that attaches to your glasses, slide over the tops of your ears and actually pushes the glasses down your nose. You push the glasses up into a proper position and you can literally watch the glasses move, entirely on their own, about 3/8" down your nose, incredibly annoying. Other than the automatic displacement feature, they seem good, fix that and they might be okay.

These are great. Keep the glasses close and they are not bulky. I'm bad at destroying my prescription Sunny's and these help save them!

My husband really likes these for his glasses at work as he frequently needs to switch between regular glasses, safety glasses, and sunglasses. He did find they don't fit well onto his Oakley sunglasses as they have a bit of a wider stick over the ear, so he just uses them on his regular eye glasses. Might also be nice to have the back be adjustable for a tighter or looser fit, but didn't matter for his particular use.

I don't like how stiff wire is. I'll keep it but wish wire wasn't so stiff.
