A great choice
The Kreg concealed hinge jig is a great choice and well worth the higher price. It looks and feels like a toy, but its so much easier than a ruler and Forstner bit. All you need is a good C-clamp and a decent drill. After a few practice cuts to dial in the setting it performs perfectly. The quality of the 35mm cup holes is outstanding and look professional. My only criticism is that the instructions could be clearer, especially when it comes to setting the hinge offset. I had to make several test cuts to figure out the correct adjustment. Overall, I highly recommend this jig even if you only plan to use it a few times and think it’s a worthwhile investment.

Decent concealed hinge jig for occasional cabinet work
I used the Kreg Concealed Hinge Jig for installing 35mm cup hinges on a few cabinet doors in my garage workshop. The jig is easy to clamp in place and the adjustable settings make it simple to get consistent hole placement for both face-frame and frameless cabinets. Drilling the cups was straightforward with a standard 35mm bit, and the depth stop worked well to prevent drilling too deep. The build feels solid enough for hobby use, but the plastic parts aren’t as robust as I expected for the price. Alignment can shift slightly if you don’t clamp it tightly. Overall, it gets the job done for occasional cabinet door installations and is a useful tool if you don’t need professional-level precision every day.

Works well, good price, great for someone who isn't going to do a lot of hinges.
Works very well. The edge adjustment is simple and secure. The collar that holds the bit seems flimsy since it's plastic, but I haven't had any issues with the bit staying stable while making my hinge holes. I didn't like the 1/16'' hole for the hinge screws, so I drilled them after with a centering bit and a square to ensure the hinges were straight on the door. You will need clamps to hold the jig as you drill though, so make sure you have something like a 6'' trigger clamp, or the kreg auto adjust vice grip style clamps. The 4'' inset from the edge also makes it easy to keep the hinges positioned evenly on all the doors.

So easy a newbie can do it!
I watched so many videos on this and was scared to drill such big holes in my old cabinets, but it worked like a charm once I used a good drill. Just a mom with a plan, and now feel like I should go by myself a tool belt!! Used with cabinet door jig to hold up the door while I hung it. Money well spent!!!

Worked well and I got my project completed.
I was going to build several cabinet doors to replace the ones in my Son's kitchen and I wanted to use concealed pocket hinges. I had never used pocket hinges before. After reading how to make the holes and how exact you needed to be in placement of the holes, fear started to take over. After researching, I found there were several jigs that you could buy to make the job a piece of cake. I have several other Kreg jigs and I am pleased with the quality and ease of use of them so I decided to spend a little more money and purchase this one. I am pleased to say that it work perfectly and I was able to get all the door holes drilled out and the hinges in place with perfect alignment. The unit comes with instructions on how to set the jig based on the hinge manufacturer's recommendations for placement. This was very easy to do; if the hinge company does in fact provide instructions for this. If they don't, then you are going to have to do some trial and error on some scrap wood in order to find the exact spacing for the holes. The only issue I have with this unit is that Kreg uses a proprietary sized shank for the 35mm Forstner bit. So you can't just use an off the shelf 35mm Forstner bit when this one wears out. You have to buy a Kreg bit. Also, this has a depth-stop collet that uses a set screw to hold it in place. Somewhere during the time I was using the bit, the screw must have worked itself out and I lost it. I had to find a compatible sized screw and cut it to length to use as the set screw and this works. If you find that you have to do this, make sure that the screw is cut short so it doesn't extend past the collet as the weight of the screw outside the collet boundry will cause the bit to become unbalanced and wobble when drilling.

Good Hinge Drilling Fixture
I have used other Kreg items in the past and was pleased with the quality. I needed to install some soft close hinges and looked on Amazon for drilling fixtures. The other brands were close in price (one was actually only $15). I decided to spend the extra $12 for something I felt may offer more quality long term if I needed to use it again. The fixture is well built. I found the Fostner bit was sharp enough for the pine cabinet doors I worked with. Some reviews mention it being a bit dull. I installed 40 hinges with zero issues. The only thing the fixture lacks is the 1/16" drill bit required for the hinge mounting. They should include two of those and provide a place under the fixture plate to store them. They have a slot for the hex key provided and they could add the drill bits next to that. Good fixture for the price point. Made quick work of installing the hinges. Would be very tedious to lay it all out by hand.

Makes Hinge Installs Fast & Repeatable
Bought this to install some shop cabinet doors. I was blown away by how easy it is to install the hinges and do so consistently. The instructions are super easy. It's simple to adjust for different hinge specifications. I highly recommend it.

Love Kreg Jigs. They make complicated jobs easy. My only complaint is that it should have a jig for the clip part of concealed hinges too. I had to 3D print one...
