So much flavor packed into a little ball, slightly pithy - similar to an astringent persimmon, while also having a concentrated deep flavor. Somewhat firm on the outside, like you might find on a dried goji berry, yet a good level of soft in the middle. Eating raisins after these - makes the raisins taste overly sweet. A fun healthy treat for those with an adventurous soul.

Extremely dry, like tiny rocks. I tried to grind it in my herb grinder, could not do that.

Very dry and old, even after simmering for few hours there was no flavor nor color. I love this brand but this is the worst buy. Not the first bulk item that’s old and too dry.
