desertcart.com: Gin Fling: Bootleg Springs (Audible Audio Edition): Lucy Score, Claire Kingsley, Natalie Duke, Stephen Dexter, That's What She Said Publishing, Inc.: Audible Books & Originals Review: Great story and comment your thought on my prediction😁 - Wowww.. this was my favorite in the series so far. I always liked Jonah’s mysterious but kind personality. I knew his book will be great, but even with that said, this book exceed my high expectations. I love that Jonah was shown to have vulnerabilities and not describe as perfect male. I love the confidence Shelby has. She knew what she wanted and went for it, true feminist💕 Their love story was developed beautifully. It was a well paced story. Jonah’s mom deserves what she’s getting. I really hope she is safe with all the information she knows and shared. She deserves a happily ever after. Lastly, I’m on edge for the last book. Here is my crazy prediction for that book, I think it’s about Callie and Gibson. Key word, crazy lol. It’s my crazy thought on the series so don’t judge lol. Here’s why I think Callie will return and will be Gibson’s long lost love. First, throughout the series we know Gibson was the least forgiving on the father and most affected by this case. The others of course were affected and held some grudge but not as much as Gibson. He was always described as a devastated isolated man that’s really going through a lot of emotional pain or battle. This book (book 5 about Jonah) really shed light on why he was so devastated. He was the only one that had some sort of relationship with Callie. The pic of them together making faces showed they were more than friends. This is why he was so hurt to think his father would sleep and kill the woman he loved. There’s too much messy ness in that situation. He has to not only grieve the death of his first love, but also witness betrayal from his father and worst of all the possibility that his father was so cruel to kill her. That is a lot to handle. That can break any human and Gibson in these story was described as a broken man. Now it’s all making sense why he was the most broken of all his siblings. I look forward to approve or disapprove this crazy theory I have🤣 either way I’m excited for this book, I know it will be a great read. Review: Small Town, Roommates Romance - 4.5 Stars Jonah Bodine came to Bootleg after seeing his father's obituary in the paper and learning that he had 4 siblings he never knew about. He didn't plan on staying, but his siblings kind of just brought him into their fold (except Gibson) and the town seem to adopt him too and there's the fact that his father is the prime suspect in a decade old missing person's case. It's a lot, but maybe this is where he's supposed to be. After moving from place to place, living with different family, he's finally got a lakeside cottage to himself. That is, until his sister decided he needs a roommate in the form of town newcomer, Shelby Thompson. She's come to town to learn about the intricacies of small town living and has been adopted by the town elders as well. Trying to make a difficult situation better, and how could she pass up such an opportunity, she offers Jonah a no-strings summer fling. Jonah is very tempted and might just give it a shot. But Shelby seems to be keeping her own secrets that might be catching up with her and the Callie Kendall case might have just hit its biggest break. There's a lot going on. Can the two of them survive it all? Jonah's story was probably one of my most anticipated stories of the series and it was no disappointment. This one also made me super excited to read Gibson's story next. Gin Fling was a perfect continuation of the mystery intertwining the Bootleg Springs series and I loved the added mystery/suspense from Shelby's side of the story. I loved the way the relationship between Jonah and Shelby developed and all the banter and back and forth between them at the start was just great. And of course Scarlett and the rest of the Bodine siblings are just perfect additions to the story. I love the way Lucy Score and Claire Kingsley have been able to keep this series so lighthearted while also dealing with some heavier subject matter throughout each book. Each book on there own is great, but when put together, this series is just great. I would recommend this one to anyone who enjoys the following. ✔️ Enemies to Friends to Lovers ✔️ Forced Proximity/Roommates ✔️ Found Family ✔️ Small Town ✔️ Mystery/Suspense ✔️ First Person Dual POV

Oh Wow! Another gem about Bootleg Springs!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Lucy Score and Claire Kingsley are 2 of my favorite authors and when they got together to write the Bootleg Sorings series, magic happened! This book is number 5 and revolves around Jonah Bodine Jr, the illegitimate son of the scion of the Bodine family. The gorgeous Jonah never knew his father but when he found out after his father’s death, that he had brothers and a sister, he wanted to meet them. So he headed for Bootleg Springs. As of this book, he’s been there a year and gotten to know the family and the town pretty well. He’s still not certain whether he’s staying for good. Shelby Thompson is a PhD student doing a study about small towns and she was intrigued when Bootleg Springs residents banded together to get rid of all the reporters that descended on their town. Jonah thinks she’s a reporter out to make money off of his family’s troubles so he’s rude to her. Shelby won’t tell him the truth because she wants him to feel really badly when he learns she’s a researcher. And she kind of likes him. And he notices her but he’s angry that she’s a reporter. Now Scarlett Bodine, infamous nosy sister of the clan, decides that she’ll fix Shelby and Jonah up, you know, play matchmaker. So when they are looking for a place to rent, unbeknownst to each other, Scarlett sets them up as roommates!! This is just one piece of hilarity in this novel. There are others, for sure. But also, the Callie Kendall missing person case continues as further clues emerge. Is Callie only missing or is it something more permanent?? Does Shelby have a stalker??? Wait?? Are those wedding bells I hear?? So much fun, mystery, and romance for you to enjoy once again as we travel to Bootleg Springs once more.

Llegué a estas series de casualidad y cada libro me está gustando más que el anterior. Ya era hora de que Jonah encontrase su media mitad. Muy recomendable.

Jonah comes to Bootleg Springs looking to meet the siblings he didn’t know he had. Of course he’s welcomed (mostly) and becomes a Bootlegger himself. Jonah is strong, sexy, kind, and loves to help others. He’s a personal trainer and I love that he treats everyone equally and will help anyone who asks. Shelby is the smart and nerdy student who is getting her doctorate in social work. She comes to Bootleg Springs to do field study for her thesis. She’s loving and sweet. She and Jonah get off on the wrong foot when he mistakes her for a journalist. Jonah and Shelby are super cute together. I like that when Jonah finds out about her medical condition, he takes care of her and helps her find ways of coping. Shelby helps Jonah realize that he does belong in Bootleg Springs and that his family has accepted him. They’re very supportive and loving with each other. Some more clues appear, and we get a little closer to an answer about what happened to Callie Kendall. Full of laughter, love, mystery, suspense, heat and an HEA.

What can I say? Jonah and Shelby. Funny. Sweet. Loving. An awesome story that will have you laughing out loud but will also keep you on the edge of your seat. Thrills, spills and the continuing mystery of Callie Kendall. Also, I want to move to Bootleg Springs. Amazing people in an awesome town, where you can laugh, love and live happily ever after. Absolutely, definitely, a recommended read.
