whats the height of this desk ? is it really short 28 inches like it says ?

Actually, I think the seller was doing a basic "even up", as I have measured my desk with 2 different measurers and it still comes up almost, but not quite 28". A really nice, very sturdy desk that can hold a lot of what you put on it, and very comfortable, both in height and leg room.

It is almost smooth. There is a few perception of a rough surface because of o micro details on the surface, that you can see in one of the pictures that show the surface of the product.Touching the nail on the surface and moving forward and back is possible to feel the resistance, but touching the finger and moving, it goes well without any resistance, although is possible to feel that is not a smooth surface like the screen of a smartphone.
