I purchased two of these lights to replace our older bulb type lights. I didn't really pay attention to the size when i ordered them i just went off of the pictures. When they arrived the first thing i noticed was how small they were, around 14cm square was the fitting side with the light having a slight overhang. My first impression was that i was going to have to return these as i didn't think they would be powerful enough to light my downstairs and upstairs hallway. I decided to fit one to see how it faired. Installation was a little fiddly as the lights do require some basic assembly. Once the lights were put together i installed the first one. The LED driver has a push connector block which made the job easier. There is a small earth lead which i connected under one of the lighting nuts. There were no instructions to advise on this. Switching on the light i was pleasantly surprised to see that they were in fact bright enough to light my large hallway. I have to be totally honest and say they do look a little out of place on a larger ceiling, the look lost in such a big space being such a small light - however these lights pack a punch and are nice and bright. The light is more a cool white than a warm white, which is what i wanted anyway. Would i recommend this light fitting? I actually would, i think they are pretty decent value for your money - yes they are small so you need to take that into consideration - but they work well and provide enough light to illuminate my hallway. I'm very pleased with this light. I have installed it in the hallway and am quite surprised at how bright it is. It looks modern and goes well with the decor. I've just ordered a second one to install on the upstairs landing. Highly recommended.

I ordered this light for my hallway and thought it looked really modern and sleek. When it arrived i was a bit surprised at how small it is and the photos seemed to show it was a lot bigger. upon opening the box i read the instructions and as an ex engineer i thought it would be very simple to assemble. I spent over an hour at home trying to get it to match the photos and the diagram in the instructions but to no avail. I gave up in the end and decided to take it to work the next day. I work at a university and have a deep pool of resources to access, so, i gave it to 2 qualified electricians and after 2 hours they brought it back to me and said it was impossible to put together. I then gave it to a professor who works in the computer school and even he was baffled. I have now returned this lamp unfortunately and i am going to purchase one that you don't need a degree from NASA to put together.

This is smaller than expected, it stinks the hall out of rubber/ plastic and the product feels poor quality with the actual bulb part being LEDs or similar which need pushing into the frame. On A positive it provides a decent amount of light and is easy to fit

Great looking light and quality. Easy to fit. Gives off good bright light on the to stair landing.
