This was exactly what I was looking for! I have a few isopod colonies started in aquariums and wanted something to keep them and their babies in, but allow for air flow. This works perfectly. I plan to add plants to these tanks at some point and make them decorative displays, as well as to add to my reptile enclosures clean up crews as needed. But this fine mesh fabric is perfect for what I needed. I found it and purchased based on someone else mentioning they used it with isopods, so hope my review can help someone else.

I'm using this as an insect screen and I'm happy to report that the "holes" are so tiny that insects won't be able to get through, not even the small ones, while still allowing air to pass through. (I can't imagine any insect in everyday city life being tiny enough to get through.) They only small negative is that it came with a few strands unraveling. It didn't cause any issues and I simply trimmed off the loose threads, but it does make me wonder if more threads will come off in the future from use.

Re-did my pool skimmer, of which the frame died after living too long in the AZ heat. Used it for the pool basket covers to block the holes from critters, which fall in & die and get ripped to shreds by the strong water movement, YUCK. Now, no more lizards, or scorpions and such, but a big tarantula got in from the pool side. This stuff is COOL! Good product, good price, fast delivery. Happy

I purchased this filter fabric to make various styles of plankton nets for testing for a project. Compared to women’s nylons, this fabric was just as functional, if not better. I was able to utilize the fabric to make some straining filters for sediment analysis. And, I also used it for tea bags for full tea leaves. The quality is highly durable and a good value for the money for the projects I can use this with.

I purchased this at the advice of an experienced airbrush artist on YouTube. I cut out a 2 inch square and place it below the cap and above the top of my paint bottles. It keeps gobs of unmixed pigment from clogging my airbrush. It also works okay as scale model netting.
