These do the job brilliantly for connecting broken garden tool cables. Small and neat and strong. Good material quality and not expensive. Easy to fit and look totally moisture proof with a good seal all round. Screwed connections, not clips, if that makes a difference to you. Great value too as you get five for the price of one from a well known diy chain.

These 3-phase AC (mains) cable connectors look and work great! - They are weather-proof (due to the ring rubber inserts, tighting up the cables inside) and much easier to deal with and install than the traditional square-type screw-in links (which you have to isolate and secure from bad weather (rain) anyway, so need a junction box). The bonuses are: 1) the resulting junction link is neat, saves you space and bother for a extra container (box), 2) you can reuse it, because you still fix the cables inside with small screws; 3) plus you cut the 3 wires in same size - which is easier and faster to do than mesuring the length of each depending on your linker size (traditionally 3 cubes in raw). Minus one star - perhaps, it's a minor thing, but the screws used inside these connectors are very tiny, much smaller than the traditional ones. Very easy to lose the srews on the site, while rotating the linker for srewing wires in, one at a time.

I've been using these on a garden hoover for quite some time now, I use it in all weather conditions with no issues, neat and compact connector the has a great watertight seal.

I was very impressed with these - only complexity was keeping the inner wires short enough not to be exposed when you screw down the cap.

Easy to use for outside broken cables.

Excellent outdoor connectors.
